I've been extremely impressed with the Dyson WashG1. It has made cleaning our tiled floors much quicker and easier than using a traditional mop. I love that it uses clean water throughout the clean and keeps the dirty water separate, so you're not just pushing dirty water around the floor. It handles everyday messes, footprints, dust, hair and even dried spills with very little effort, and the floors dry surprisingly quickly. The self-cleaning function is another great feature, making maintenance simple and hygienic. The build quality is excellent and it's very easy to manoeuvre around the house. While it's definitely a premium product, the time it saves and the quality of the clean make it well worth the investment. If your home has mostly hard floors, I would highly recommend it.

Didn’t realise there was so much dirt on my floors til I used this cleaner! Alas it broke down after 2 cleans but Dyson replaced the motor within 24 hours under warranty. So much more hygienic than a mop.

Great product now at a good price
I wasn’t sure I wanted to spend a lot of money on a mop, but when this price dropped recently, I took the plunge. This mop is simple to use and does a great job of mopping floors and moving some difficult spots. It is working great and I would recommend it.

This product is great for cleaning tiles and hard floors. It’s very quick and easy to use the only downside is that you need to take the rollers out and clean and dry it after every use otherwise it can get mouldy.

Good but with some caveats
This product isn’t terrible, but could be a lot better, and there are certainly better alternatives out there in 2026. Firstly - the good. It does a pretty good job of cleaning hard floors. Floor cleaning agent can be added to the water tank (so long as it is non foaming) to ensure you get a more thorough clean than using water alone. My floors look and feel very clean after using this. The not so good - this device is heavy and clunky, and the cleaning/dismantling process is more challenging than dyson’s own how-to videos would make it seem. The mechanism holding the fluffy rollers and various drip trays need to be completely disassembled after each floor cleaning agent and left to dry, which can take in excess of 24 hours for the fluffy rollers to become air dried. If the rollers aren’t disassembled after use, they will remain damp and develop an odour. The entire process is awkward and when removing the various components after use you’ll likely end up dripping a fair amiunt of water over your nice clean floor. It’s hard to recommend this product when there are other better options out there.

This is an excellent innovation. Dyson are concentrating on pushing the Submarine products - vac-washers, but in my experience they do both jobs only half as well as a dedicated machine. For this reason if ypu already have a vac, this is a grwat addition
