Pros
Cleaning (1)
Great vacuum mop combo
Best thing I bought! Only giving 4 stars as the soap it’s a bit difficult to buy, but the bottle will last for quite a long while. It does the job, sucks up dirt and hair and doesn’t get tangled on the roller while mopping the floor at the same time. We’re a small family with only one child and we live in an apartment with laminated floors so this is exactly what we need to save time in cleaning. Best feature is it cleans itself although you have to empty the dirty water container but that’s nothing compare to cleaning the dirty mop in your washer. Crossing my fingers it’ll last long it’s only been a month so I’m holding my breath.

Powerful
I have been surprised at the power in this machine. Cleans well, leaves the floor not too wet so dries quickly.

Works well
This machine works really well however it has an annoying thing where it leaves dirty roller marks on my white skirting & tiles if I don't pull it back before it kisses the wall. I'm sure this could be resolved with a bumper stop of some kind. I'm going to trial some felt dots.

Love it !!
Absolutely love this cleaner. My floorboards come up perfect ever time and so quick to do. I use it most nights and wake up to clean floors. Better on a smaller area. My tiles come up well but not as good as the floorboards.

At a glance
The Narwal S20 Pro is a cordless hard floor cleaner that vacuums and washes sealed floors at the same time, making it a practical fit for apartments and small homes. Its key strengths are strong 20,000Pa suction, lightweight handling and easy self-cleaning maintenance. A fair limitation is that it is better suited to regular hard floor cleaning than larger homes needing longer uninterrupted cleaning sessions.

Things to consider
This model is best for sealed hard floors and routine whole-room cleaning, but larger homes or buyers wanting a bigger water capacity may prefer a more specialised or higher-capacity cleaner.
Pet hair performance score
8/10 - Strong 20,000Pa suction makes it well suited to picking up pet hair from sealed hard floors.
Allergy suitability
Good for routine removal of dust, fine debris and dirty water from sealed hard floors, though it is not positioned as a specialist allergy-cleaning system.
Ease of use rating
9/10 - Lightweight 4.26kg design, cordless operation and self-cleaning base make day-to-day use straightforward.
Noise level vs category
7/10 - Likely in line with many cordless wet and dry floor cleaners, with no specific low-noise claim provided.
Floor type compatibility
Best for sealed timber and tile floors
Key benefits
- 20,000Pa suction: Helps lift crumbs, dirt and pet hair from hard floors with strong pickup for everyday messes.
- Wet and dry cleaning: Vacuums and washes in one step to deal with fine dust and sticky spills together.
- Cordless design: Lets you move between rooms more freely without managing a power cable.
- Lightweight 4.26kg body: Easier to carry around the home and more manageable for quick cleans.
- 790mL clean water tank: Supports routine hard floor cleaning with fewer refill interruptions.
- 670mL dirty water tank: Holds collected dirty water separately to help keep washing performance more hygienic during use.
- Self-cleaning base: Reduces post-clean maintenance and makes after-use care simpler.
- Brush drying up to 65°C: Helps dry the brush after cleaning to reduce damp odours and keep it ready for the next use.
Q: Does it work on rugs or carpet as well?
A: No. Narwal S20 Pro is designed for sealed hard floors only, including sealed timber and tile. Its wet and dry floor head is not intended for carpet or rugs, so it is not a whole-home cleaner if soft flooring is a major area.
Q: Can I use it on laminate or floating floors?
A: Yes, if the floor surface is sealed and the flooring maker allows wet cleaning. Narwal S20 Pro is built for sealed hard floors, so it is not a good match for unsealed timber or any surface that should not be mopped.
Q: How does the self-cleaning base work after use?
A: Narwal S20 Pro can self-clean the brush on its base, and the drying cycle heats the brush to 65°C. That cuts down hands-on cleanup, but the dirty water tank still needs to be emptied after cleaning.
Q: Will it suit a small apartment with daily mess?
A: Yes. The cordless design, 4.26kg body and practical tank sizes make it easy to carry room to room for routine kitchen and dining spills. In a larger home, the 790mL clean tank and 670mL dirty tank may mean more stops.
Q: Can the cleaner reach under sofas and low furniture?
A: Yes. Narwal S20 Pro has a 180° flat reach design, which helps it slide further under beds, sofas and cabinets than a more upright floor washer. Clearance still depends on the height under the furniture, not just the cleaner head.
Q: Does it change power automatically for dirtier patches?
A: Yes. Narwal S20 Pro uses AI DirtSense to adjust cleaning power to the amount of dirt it detects, so it is not locked to one fixed level. It also has 5 cleaning modes if you want to choose a mode yourself for different mess types.
