  Safety warning

  This machine arrived without the geared spool so I was unable to trial it. I would have had to order that part separately. As I packed it all back up, my little finger lightly touched the blade and blood literally streamed out the cut. I knew to be careful, but handling the large cutting blades was not easy. I decided it was so dangerous, I would return it. I thank you for taking the return, and used the money to buy a coffee machine from you instead.

  Aids bigger and smaller dicing sizes

  Firstly, a great price from The Good Guys, plus despite there being concern about a long delivery time, the Dicing Kit came quickly. The kit would not be cheap to make - it contains two dicing grids (made from Stainless and razor sharp on their cutting side, a cover for each sharp side, a horizontal rotating blade that cuts the height of the fruit or vegetable and then pushes it through the blade, covers for those blades, two push devices to push left over material through the blade, and an attractive and well designed rigid plastic holder that clips down and swings up to allow access to the blades and the other items. I've found the dicing kit a useful extension of the peel and dice food processor. The machine can now dice very small and much larger cubes of fruit or vegetables. The dicer cuts with enormous precision and at very high speed. Just like when using a sharp knife, one has to remember where the sharp edge of the blades are. This may not be intuitive for some, especially when the setup is brand new and hence one is unfamiliar with it. So early on, one has to be attentive until one understands to keep one's fingers away from not only the rotating knifes, but also from the sharp side of the dicing blades. This process is very well aided by the plastic blade covers. I found clean up a since, except for when I tried dicing chicken. The chicken diced, but not the grissel which stuck to the blades. So the dicing kit is in my opinion unsuitable for dicing meat, due to clean up diificulty. Breville says that too. I've found it very easy to clean vegetables and fruits. I've found it only takes a minute to clean the blades and then a minute for the bowels. So for a quantity, it saves a lot of time, and also, it produces a uniform product. I do however have a sink handy and bench storage - the mixer is for some quite heavy. The most amazing thing for me is that cooking diced vegetables is much much quicker than it was, and the vegetables can be cooked together rather than cooking them in stages such as slow cooked vegetables first. I now chuck them all in together, and the results are spectacular - the vegies are cooked, but still firm and not mushy. I still haven't tried the potatoe peeler. I've been on a low carbohydrate diet - but I'm looking forward to a potatoe dish!

  Great product from Breville that makes kitchen prep easy and quick - just great.

  The dicing kit is worth the cost, as it represents great value regarding the ease, time-saving and size options for veggies, fruit and more. Once you understand how to assemble the product (Youtube can assist ) and use it, the chore of dicing foods for meals for 4 or 6 people is a thing of the past. The whole unit is robust, of great quality and durable. Be aware that the blades are extremely sharp and care must be exercised whilst handling them - Top Product!

  Excellent addition

  Do your research some places advertise this unit to fit 800 which it does not I had to call Breville to get the correct information it is adaptable to the 820 model. Makes stylish potato salad, neat fruit salad and cheese platters easy to clean impressed with its use. Also variable prices Good guys were the cheapest.

  Great Accessory

  This is a really good complement to the peel and dice and provides the perfect size for tomatoes or onions or soup, and the larger one is great for those slightly larger things (like fried potatoes). Mine doesnt take up any extra bench space either, it just sits nicely on top of the peel and dice accessory kit.

  If you got used to dicing with your Breville Dice and Peel...this additional dicing kit is a must. Very small dicing size for salsas, pico di gallo and the like, the larger kit for potato salads and other dishes where larger dicing is required. At an additional cost..as it does not come with the original Breville Peel and Dice....but certainly worth it. You will use them quite a lot. Very happy I got the additional dicing kit.

  Breville money maker

  Bought Breville kitchen wiz. Then I thought Id buy these diver blades. Only problem is neither of these products can be used together. I now have to buy a conversion kit which has the geared spindle to run the dicing blades but also the kit has a different large bowl. As if breville couldnt have made the geared spindle to run on the Kitchen Wizz and supplied the geared spindle with these diver blades. Once your sucked in you stuffed
