Fast charging and space saving
I had to replace an old charger, so as usual I went to The Good Guys Hervey Bay where the sales staff are always friendly and helpful. I chose the Belkin charger which works perfectly and is much faster than I am used to and I am delighted with my purchase.

At a glance
The Belkin Dual USB-C GaN Wall Charger with PPS 65W is a compact charger for phones, tablets and compatible laptops. It suits people who want one adapter for desk use or travel, with dual USB-C charging and up to 65W from a single port. Its main strengths are portability and flexible charging. The main limitation is that power drops to 45W and 20W when both ports are used.

Things to consider
If you need full high-wattage charging for two larger devices at the same time, this charger is less suitable because dual-port use splits output to 45W and 20W.
Fast charging suitability
High - up to 65W on a single USB-C port with PD 3.0 and PPS support for compatible devices
Multi-device compatibility
Strong - suitable for compatible phones, tablets, laptops and devices such as Apple, Samsung and Nintendo Switch
Travel suitability
8.5/10 - slim GaN design and low 0.16 kg weight make it easy to pack, though it is still a wall charger rather than a dedicated ultra-mini travel model
Durability vs category average
7/10 - solid everyday charger from a known brand with a 2 year warranty, but no ruggedised or heavy-duty build features are specified
Ease of use score
9/10 - simple plug-and-charge setup with two USB-C ports and automatic power negotiation for compatible devices
Key benefits
- 65W Single-Port Output: Delivers up to 65W from one USB-C port for fast charging of compatible laptops, tablets and phones.
- Dual USB-C Ports: Lets you charge two compatible devices at the same time from one wall charger.
- 45W + 20W Shared Output: Supports a practical laptop-and-phone charging setup when both ports are in use.
- GaN Design: Helps keep the charger compact and lightweight at 0.16 kg for easier packing and everyday carry.
- PPS Support: Adjusts voltage for supported devices to help maintain fast charging and better heat management.
- Slim Body: The 1.33 cm depth helps it fit neatly into travel bags, power boards and tighter desk spaces.
- USB-C PD 3.0 Support: Works with modern USB-C charging standards used by many phones, tablets and laptops.
- 2 Year Manufacturer's Warranty: Adds peace of mind for regular daily charging use.
Q: Will both USB-C ports give 65W at the same time?
A: No. Belkin WCH013AUWH delivers 65W only when one USB-C port is used on its own. When both ports are in use, output is shared at 45W and 20W, which suits a laptop and phone better than two higher-power laptops.
Q: Can it charge a laptop and phone together without slowing?
A: Yes, for many setups. Belkin WCH013AUWH splits power to 45W and 20W when both ports are used, so it can handle a compatible laptop and phone together, but a higher-demand laptop may charge more slowly than on a single-port 65W charge.
Q: Is the 20W shared port enough for fast phone charging?
A: Yes, for many compatible phones. In dual-port use, one USB-C port supplies 20W, which is generally suitable for fast phone charging, but it is not intended for laptops or other devices that need higher USB-C power.
Q: What does PPS do on this Belkin 65W charger?
A: PPS lets the charger adjust voltage for supported devices instead of holding one fixed level. On Belkin WCH013AUWH, that helps maintain fast charging on compatible hardware and can reduce unnecessary heat during charging.
Q: Can this replace separate phone and laptop wall chargers?
A: Yes, if both devices charge over USB-C. Belkin WCH013AUWH can deliver 65W from one port for a compatible laptop, or charge two devices together at 45W and 20W. It will not suit gear that needs USB-A or more shared wattage.
Q: Is this compact enough for travel with a laptop bag?
A: Yes. Belkin WCH013AUWH uses GaN technology to keep the body slim at 13.3mm deep and 160g, so it is easier to pack than many larger laptop chargers. It is still a wall charger, not a fold-flat travel plug.
