Good quality product with one little feature flaw
Product quality is great. Happy with my purchase. Fan speed is strong. The only thing I wish they hadn't done was the switches to turn on the rangehood light, the fan speed 1 and 2 are all integrated within the rangehood and no longer a manual switch. As you pull out the rangehood, it triggers the switch for the light. Then as you pull it further, the fan starts at speed 1. When you pull it out to the furthest, fan speed 2 is triggered. Which means the light will always be turned on first. There's no way to turn on the fan without the light being turned on. I preferred the manual switch.

It's OK for the Price
I needed to replace an older grease filled Westinghouse Range-hood and this unit will slot straight into the position of the old one which makes it great. But it's noise level is more than I hoped for and given it has dual fans I would have expected better extraction and given I replaced the very short duct and external vent as well, I just feel it could be stronger. If you cook a lot of fragrant and/or greasy style meals you will want something more powerful, if you're replacing an existing unit and don't want to make cabinet upgrades it'll do the job ok.

Good value low tech easy install rangehood
Our 16 year old high end high tech range hood failed and parts are no longer available. We considered a similar replacement and supply and install was close to $3000. We decided on a low tech low cost Westinghouse Rangeboods and are very happy with it’s slimline appearance and easy use.
