Q: Is this kettle suitable for a small kitchen bench?
A: Yes. Sunbeam Simply Shine Kettle Cream measures 244 x 152 x 152mm, so it suits smaller benchtops and apartment kitchens. The cordless jug and built-in cord storage also help keep the area around the base neater.
Q: Does this Sunbeam kettle have variable temperature settings?
A: No. Sunbeam Simply Shine Kettle Cream is a straightforward boil-only kettle, so it does not offer variable temperature control for green tea, coffee brewing, or other lower-temperature uses. It is better suited to everyday boiling.
Q: How many cups can the 1.7L kettle make?
A: Sunbeam Simply Shine Kettle Cream has a 1.7L capacity, which is listed as enough for 7 standard cups of tea. That is a practical size for daily household use, but larger groups may still need a second boil.
Q: Can left handed and right handed users place it easily?
A: Yes. Sunbeam Simply Shine Kettle Cream uses a 360° power base, so the jug can be placed back from any direction. That makes it simpler to dock and lift whether the kettle sits to the left or right of the user.
Q: What is the kettle body made from?
A: Sunbeam Simply Shine Kettle Cream has a plastic body rather than a metal or glass housing. That helps keep the empty weight to 1.5kg, which is useful if you want a lighter kettle that is easier to lift and refill.
Q: Will the power cord stay tidy on the bench?
A: Yes. Sunbeam Simply Shine Kettle Cream has a 900mm cord and built-in cord storage in the base, so extra length can be tucked away. It is a practical feature if you want less cable visible around the kettle.
