Russel Hobbs Kettle
The feature of this product I like best is the lid, it is all aluminium and not plastic. I also like the handle of the jug at the top because I have arthritis in my hands and I find this feature much easier to use. I'm very happy with this product.

A bit noisy
Seems to be loud when heating up but heats up quickly. As a person who has arthritis in the hands, I feel the handle is awkward to use & could have been better designed.

Great sturdy kettle
My last kettle was a similar Russell Hobbs and it died after 8 years or so of use. This is a nice sturdy kettle (1 month use so far). I cleaned it with lemon juice /boiling water before use to mitigate any odd tastes (I do this each time I buy a new kettle - whether there are smells or none.
