  Still getting to know this TV as there are a lot of new features on my previous Samsung purchased 14 years ago. I find the little remote fiddly and always have to put the light on to use it. Still trying to find the “previous channel” option - I guess I will have to read the manual. The sound on the TV is “hissy” when the volume is at the higher end. Need to research this further. Picture quality is good and no issues with delivery or getting set up.

  Awesome features

  I bought this TV to replace my former Samsung TV which I had for 12 years. It is a dream to use as the features and favourite streaming services such as Netflix, YouTube and any other one you like to include are all there on the home screen. The colour and clarity of the picture is fantastic. I love this TV.

  Great image wrapped in a frustrating 'smart' experience.

  Picture quality is excellent for the price. I picked it up on a 'door buster' sale for $862 and nothing came even close for image quality at that price. I have it mounted in a very bright room (floor-to-ceiling windows and curtains always open) and it has no trouble staying bright and vibrant. Contrast is strong, content appears sharp and clean. HDR looks good without obvious blooming and upscaling is solid. As a display it genuinely punches above its price. Sound is fine but forgettable. Dialogue is clear but there’s no real punch or width so adding a soundbar seems inevitable. It's the software that lets it down. The menus are cluttered, the TV constantly pushes content and the integrated ads are just annoying. Last night my home screen changed to an add for Smiths Chips! You can reduce some of the tracking and data collection by digging through layers of settings, even then it never really feels private. Also the app selection in the Samsung store is surprisingly limited. To get the best out of this TV I think you really need to ignore most of what makes it 'smart'. Add an external streaming device, disable as much as you can and you’re left with a very good panel. Just not a great smart TV.
