Brilliant Fridge for Young Family
After our baby started solids, it was time to upgrade to a larger fridge. This 495L Samsung fridge is a great size for our family of three, with plenty of room on the shelves, drawers, and door inserts. The shelves are wide and quite deep so you can fit plenty on them, there are also two decent sized drawers for fruit and vegetables. The door inserts range in size, with the biggest easily holding a 3L bottle of milk and two 1L cartons. The smallest shelves are enough to hold a few jars or sauce bottles. The freezer has two drawers which are deep and fit plenty. There is a plumbed ice maker which does take up a decent amount of room if in use but it's easy to remove the tray and turn off the ice maker if you prefer the extra room. The non-plumbed water dispenser is good to have. Holds 4L which is plenty. The two small gripes are that it can dribble down the glass as you start/stop using it, and removing the container to fill is not at all easy, so much so that I now just remove the shelf above it and fill it while it's still in the fridge. All around, the fridge is cool and the freezer is very cold with easily adjustable temperatures. There's also a handy PowerCool and PowerFreeze mode, with PowerFreeze being particularly handy if you buy bulk meats to chill them quickly. Externally, the fridge has a sleek design and a nice finish. It is fingerprint resistant but in the right light some can still be seen, although this would be expected with any metal finish. The unit itself also feels solid with good weight behind the doors and freezer drawer.

Drink dispenser refill tank tip
The overall fridge and freezer are working well. The drink dispenser tank is tricky due to the insert rails being on an angle as opposed to being vertical.like the shelving in the doors. I did not see this mentioned in the manual. If not inserted correctly it leaks on the inside of the fridge.

No surprises
The fridge does everything it's meant to. It keeps things cold in the fridge and frozen in the freezer. The ice maker works well. The water dispenser works too. The water dispenser is not plumbed in, so it needs refilling. To refill the water dispenser the shelf above it needs to be removed, so it's a bit fiddly, and I suspect the shelf will eventually break from being put in and out. It was the cheapest fridge to fit our available space that had a water dispenser and an ice maker. So far, so good, I'm happy with it.

Great Fridge
