Software experience is poor
I’ve always bought LG TVs, but I think this will be the last one. The software is unbelievably convoluted - there are so many different screens and menus it makes it impossible to find the feature you’re looking for. The remote has almost no buttons, which makes things difficult again because you need to press or long press buttons to get to a different menu. However they’ve taken up realestate on the remote with 6 shortcuts to streaming services. Please, stop selling space on the remote control, or make them programmable. I buy LG for the PVR function, but since you lose all your recordings when you upgrade your TV, I think I’m better off buying a PVR next time. You would think LG would find a way to embed a user code so you can upgrade your TV. Overall the image quality is as good as any other TV you would buy, but I don’t think that’s enough. LG - sort out your user interface. I would return this TV if I could.
