LED projector
The projector is pretty easy to set up and use. Pairing with phone is straightforward as well but if you want to cast via Apple play (iPhone) it’s not all straight forward and needs some back & forth adjustments before working. Light from projector isn’t very strong and so needs a dark room to be able to work well. Generally it’s quite alright for its price point.

Amazing projecter
this projecter is great.. small compact but feature packed.. navigating through is a bit clumpsy however, if you are using an external source like phone/laptop, this is great.. I use this to watch F1/Cricket after installing Kayo and works great. Limited inbuilt apps and cant install most of the new apps (from play store). Youtube is inbuilt and works great however, netflix, i struggle to get it to work & use.. 4 star rating just so i am not able to use netflix. if that's fixed, I will bump it up to 5 stars

Better than expected
Given the price point, the picture is better than expected. Need a Bluetooth speaker to connect to as the built in speaker is not great and the cord is also quite short. Overall a good buy if you keep those in mind.

Its rotating tube body, Android 11 system and wireless connectivity make casual streaming easy without a fixed TV. It is best for users who want portability and convenience on a budget. The main limitation is its 180-lumen brightness, which is better suited to dim or dark rooms than bright living spaces.

Key benefits
- Rotating Tube Design: Lets you aim the picture at a wall or ceiling more easily for flexible viewing positions.
- Portable Build: Compact design makes it easier to move between rooms or pack for travel setups.
- Android 11 Smart System: Run supported streaming apps directly on the projector without needing a separate media box.
- Digital Keystone Correction: Helps square up the image when the projector is placed at an angle.
- Dual-Band Wi-Fi: Supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless connections for flexible home network compatibility.
- Bluetooth v5.0: Pair compatible speakers or audio devices wirelessly for a simpler entertainment setup.
- Up to 100-Inch Image Size: Creates a more immersive viewing experience than a small bedroom TV.
- 1.2:1 Throw Ratio: Works well in tighter spaces where you want a large image without placing the projector too far back.
Q: Is this projector bright enough for daytime viewing at home
A: No. Laser PJ-TUHDAB-877 uses 180 lumens, so the picture is best in dim or dark rooms rather than a bright lounge during the day. It suits bedroom viewing after dark or with curtains closed more than an all-day TV replacement.
Q: Can it project onto the ceiling for bedroom movie nights
A: Yes. Laser PJ-TUHDAB-877 has a rotating tube body that can aim at a wall or ceiling, and digital keystone correction helps square the image if placement is off-angle. A flat projection surface in a dark room will give the cleanest result.
Q: Will the built in speaker be enough for regular movies
A: Laser PJ-TUHDAB-877 has a 3W speaker, which is fine for casual viewing in a small room but limited for fuller movie sound. Bluetooth v5.0 lets it pair with compatible speakers or audio devices if you want stronger audio.
Q: How much space do I need to get a big picture
A: Laser PJ-TUHDAB-877 has a 1.2:1 throw ratio and a minimum throw distance of 1.4m. That suits smaller rooms better than long-throw setups, but the picture still works best when you have a clear wall and controlled lighting.
Q: Does the Android system mean I can skip a streaming stick
A: Yes. Laser PJ-TUHDAB-877 runs Android 11, so streaming apps can be used directly over Wi-Fi without a separate media stick. App range and performance can still vary by service, so some buyers may prefer casting from another device.
Q: Is digital keystone enough if the projector sits off centre
A: Yes, for moderate adjustment. Laser PJ-TUHDAB-877 includes digital keystone correction to help straighten the image when the projector is placed at an angle. Picture quality is usually best when placement stays as square as practical.
