Worth the investment for the long haul
I’m officially on my second Breville Smart Toast 2-Slice. What keeps me coming back is the consistency. Most toasters are hit-or-miss, but the internal sensors here really do adjust for heat. Pros: Even browning. The "A Bit More" and "Lift & Look" buttons are features I like —no more guessing if the toast is done Cons: It’s a bit of an investment, but considering my first one lasted years of frequent use, the value is definitely there.
