Great machine
The bread maker is very easy to use. Simply place ingredients in the pan and delicious bread is ready within hours. The delay feature is handy to wake up to fresh bread and the wonderful smell in the morning. I have made white, wholemeal seed and raisin bread.

Bread made easy
As bread makers go the Breville Bakers Dozen is pure simplicity, quality and fast. The manual is very easy to follow how ever it directs you to follow the instructions of the bread mix you are using. Most bread mixes tell you to follow the machine. From past experience I place the yeast in first then the mix then water on the top (do not let the water and the yeast touch). The menu buttons are quick to change and nothing starts till you activate it. The finish timer is very load and does go for about 2-3 mins to tell you the bread is finished and to remove. This is a great feature if your a set and forget person like myself. Would recommend highly if you go through bread quickly, the money saved overall is well worth the price.

Not as good as we expected
It has taken a few attempts and experiments to bake what we expected It does not brown the dread very pale unless you put it on extra bake The recipes are good but we do adjust them now

The instructions are abit vague, I waited 15 minutes for it to start, and I thought it was broken, however on googling the product I saw comments that said it took about 20 mins to heat up…., nowhere in the instructions does it say that
