Breville Juice Fountain
We like the juice fountain, and are thrilled with it sending the pulp out of the machine. The juice fountain is so much easier to use than our first juicer.

Bad Customer Service Support
Recently I ordered this product online and it came without the Product Manual or any other documentation. I tried calling the customer service. At first instance, someone hangup on me and did not answer my questions. When I called again, after speaking to the customer service person for more than 20 minutes, I did not get proper resolution. Instead of Good Guys, sending me the documentation, I was told to either collect the documents from my nearest store and if they have spare, they will give me to return the product in the box and they will send me a new box 'hopefully' with the documentation. I did not find either of the suggestions worthy of my action and felt that the person just wanted to close the call and put the monkey back on my shoulders. Overall, I found this to be bad customer service experience. experience. As such, the product seems to be okay, I have used it only once!

At a glance
The Breville The Juice Fountain Cold is a powerful centrifugal juicer designed for fast everyday fruit and vegetable juicing at home. It suits families and meal-preppers with its 2 L jug, 3.4 L pulp container and wide chute. Its key strengths are speed, batch capacity and simple cleaning, but it is less specialised for leafy greens than premium slow juicers.
What it’s great for
- Large-batch juicing
- Family breakfast prep
- Meal prepping
- Fast everyday juicing
Where it works best
- Family kitchen
- Home benchtop
- Meal-prep setup
Who it’s for
- Families
- Meal-preppers
- Busy households
- Everyday home cooks
Things to consider
As a centrifugal juicer, it is built for speed and convenience rather than the slower, more specialised extraction some premium cold press models offer for leafy greens and softer produce.
Juicing variety suitability
Best for hard fruits and vegetables, good for everyday mixed produce, less specialised for leafy greens than slow juicers
Ease of cleaning score
8/10 - dishwasher-safe jug, included cleaning brush and straightforward parts help make cleanup easier
Family use fit
High - the 2 L jug and 3.4 L pulp container suit larger households and batch juicing
Noise level vs category
5/10 - typical for a powerful centrifugal juicer, so expect more noise than slow juicers
Nutrient retention rating
7/10 - Cold Spin Technology is designed to minimise heat transfer, though centrifugal juicing is still less specialised than premium cold press extraction
Key benefits
- 1250W motor: Provides strong power for fast juicing of a wide range of fruits and vegetables.
- 2 L sealed juice jug: Lets you make larger batches and store juice in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- 3.4 L pulp container: Holds more pulp before needing to be emptied during bigger juicing sessions.
- 75 mm extra-wide chute: Fits whole fruits and vegetables more easily, reducing prep time.
- Cold Spin Technology: Minimises heat transfer during extraction for cooler juice processing.
- Two-speed control: Low and high settings make it easier to adapt to different produce types.
- Dishwasher-safe jug: Makes post-juicing cleanup simpler for regular use.
- Interlocking safety arm: Prevents operation unless the cover is correctly locked in place.
Q: Can it juice leafy greens and celery well?
A: Breville BJE430SIL can juice leafy greens and celery, but it is better suited to most fruits, vegetables and harder produce than greens-heavy recipes. If kale, spinach or herbs are your main ingredients, a slow juicer usually extracts them more efficiently.
Q: Is this a cold press or centrifugal juicer?
A: No. Breville BJE430SIL is not a slow cold press juicer. It is a centrifugal model with Cold Spin Technology, designed for fast juicing with less than 1°C heat transfer, so speed and volume matter more here than slow extraction.
Q: Do I need to cut apples or carrots first?
A: No, not always. The 75mm feed chute is designed to take many whole fruits and vegetables, which cuts prep time, but oversized produce or items with hard, inedible parts may still need trimming before juicing.
Q: Can I batch juice and store it in the fridge?
A: Yes. Breville BJE430SIL includes a 2-litre Seal and Store Juice Jug for larger batches, and the jug is designed to keep juice fresh in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. It is a better fit for family servings than single-glass-only juicing.
Q: What happens if the motor overloads during juicing?
A: If the motor overloads, the LED display lights up to show the juicer has stopped as a protective feature. Breville BJE430SIL also uses an interlocking safety arm, so it will not operate unless the cover is locked in place.
Q: Does the spout juice straight into a glass cleanly?
A: Yes. Breville BJE430SIL includes a detachable spout for juicing directly into a glass, which is useful when you do not want to fill the full jug. The spout can also be inverted after use to help reduce bench drips.
