If you're looking for a rice cooker - THIS is the one to get. I have had other branded models in the past and the lid was just a glass top that "sat" in place. No, no, no, don't get those as they are messy and spit out excess steam and residue everywhere- this lid actually clips shut meaning you wont get that mess. Rice is cooked perfectly and easy to clean = WINNER!!
