Cool colour - neon pink
Good pink colour, wish it was pink on the back but it’s white. Still looks nice and a new fresh controller always feels great.

The Best For Less
When The Good Guys put the best console controller on sale for under $70; you immediately click and collect. The Xbox controller is still the best bang for your buck. Comfortable in the hands during long gaming sessions. Durable and dependable.

Great controller and the best price
The batteries last about 50 hours, which is long enough, and the connectivity is good as well. I’ve used it with a USB-C cable too, although some of the buttons weren’t working properly in one particular game. If I connect it via Bluetooth first and then plug in the cable, that issue doesn’t occur. It only happened when connecting with the cable straight away, and not with every game. Other than that, I’m more than happy with the purchase.

At a glance
The Xbox Wireless Controller in Deep Pink is a versatile wireless gamepad for Xbox Series X, Xbox One and Windows 10 players who want familiar controls, solid comfort and a bold colour finish. Its strengths are Bluetooth connectivity, up to 40 hours of battery life and precise input features like the hybrid D-pad and Impulse Triggers. One limitation is that it offers less customisation than specialist premium controllers.

Things to consider
It delivers strong all-round performance, but it does not offer the deeper remapping, adjustable trigger settings or pro-level tuning found on more premium specialist controllers.
Platform compatibility
Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Windows 10
Competitive gaming suitability
7/10 - responsive controls and precise layout suit regular competitive play, but it lacks advanced pro-level tuning.
Comfort score
8/10 - textured grip and streamlined shape support comfortable longer sessions for most players.
Customisation flexibility
5/10 - strong standard layout, but less adjustable than premium enthusiast controllers.
Portability rating
8/10 - wireless design makes it easy to move between rooms or pack for gaming away from your main setup.
Key benefits
- Bluetooth Connectivity: Lets you connect wirelessly across compatible Xbox consoles and Windows 10 devices for flexible play.
- Battery Life: Up to 40 hours of battery life supports longer gaming sessions between battery changes or recharges.
- Textured Grip: Helps the controller feel more secure and comfortable in hand during extended play.
- Hybrid D-pad: Improves directional precision for movement, menus and fighting or platform games.
- Impulse Triggers: Adds more tactile feedback to supported games so actions feel more responsive.
- Share Button: Makes it easier to capture and share gameplay moments without interrupting play for long.
- 3.5 mm Headset Jack: Supports compatible wired headsets for in-game audio and chat.
- Deep Pink Finish: Adds a bright, personalised look to your gaming setup without changing the familiar Xbox layout.
Q: How do I put this Xbox controller into Bluetooth pairing mode?
A: To start Bluetooth pairing, switch the controller on, then hold the pairing button until the Xbox button begins flashing. It can then be selected on a compatible Xbox, Windows 10 PC, or other Bluetooth device it supports.
Q: Can I plug a headset into the Deep Pink controller?
A: Yes. This Xbox Wireless Controller has a headphone jack for a compatible wired headset, so game audio and chat can run through the controller. Wireless headsets still need their own supported connection method rather than the jack.
Q: Does this Xbox Wireless Controller have paddles or trigger stops?
A: No. This is a standard Xbox Wireless Controller, not a specialist controller with rear paddles or trigger-stop switches. It does include textured grip, a hybrid D-pad, responsive buttons, and Impulse Triggers for regular play.
Q: Is the Deep Pink version different from other Xbox wireless controllers?
A: The main difference is the Deep Pink finish. Xbox Wireless Controller in Deep Pink keeps the same core layout and features listed for this standard model, including Bluetooth, the hybrid D-pad, textured grip, a share button, and headset support.
