Needed an extra controller for the Xbox series S that J also purchased from TGG only a month earlier. Searched around for the best pricing and it was hard to beat with the The Good Guys Price best. Ordering online was simple and collecting was even easier.

Key benefits
- Multi-device compatibility: Lets you play across Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Windows 10 PCs, iOS and Android devices with one controller.
- Ergonomic shape: Sculpted surfaces and refined geometry help keep the controller comfortable during longer play sessions.
- Textured grips: Textured triggers, bumpers and back case help you maintain a steadier hold during fast gameplay.
- Hybrid D-pad: Delivers more precise directional input while keeping a familiar feel for different game genres.
- Custom button mapping: Use the Xbox Accessories app to remap controls and create profiles that better match your play style.
- 3.5 mm audio jack: Connect a compatible wired headset directly to the controller for chat and in-game audio.
- Wireless connectivity: Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth support make it easy to pair with supported consoles, PCs and mobile devices.
- Flexible power options: Supports rechargeable battery use and AA batteries, giving you more choice for how you power your controller.
Q: Does this Xbox controller have vibration or rumble feedback?
A: No. Xbox Wireless Controller (Carbon Black) is listed without vibration, so games will not deliver rumble feedback through the controller itself. If force feedback matters in racing, action or sports titles, this model will feel simpler.
Q: Can the USB-C port charge the AA batteries inside?
A: No. Xbox Wireless Controller (Carbon Black) uses non-rechargeable AA batteries, so the USB-C port is for wired play rather than charging the cells inside. A USB-C cable can keep the controller in use, but it does not make the battery setup rechargeable.
Q: Will the 3.5mm headset jack work on PC and mobile?
A: No. The 3.5mm headset jack is documented for headset use on Xbox consoles. On PC and supported mobile devices, controller support is listed, but headset audio through the controller jack is not, so use the device's own audio connection if needed.
Q: Is this controller suitable for Google TV or smart TVs?
A: Not necessarily. Xbox Wireless Controller (Carbon Black) is listed for Xbox consoles, Windows 10 PCs, and supported iOS and Android devices. Smart TVs and streaming boxes are not part of its documented compatibility, so pairing can vary by TV model and app support.
Q: Can it be used wired if the batteries run flat?
A: Yes. Xbox Wireless Controller (Carbon Black) supports plug-in play via USB-C, so it can keep working with a cable when AA batteries run flat. Wired use also avoids wireless pairing, which suits desk gaming or a quick setup on a compatible device.
