Very effective and easy to set up
Bought to extend the wifi from the TP-Link wifi 7 router (BE3600), when we upgraded our NBN to FTTP. The router is among the cheapest wifi 7 options and works with the Tether app to set up an easymesh system. Got this great extender to get faster wifi beyond the house to out buildings and garden. Which it does brilliantly, faster wifi by the shed than I used to get next to the modem before the upgrade. Brief delay in set up process because I didn't read the instructions and closed the app before the connection set ups were complete. Easy to sort. Hardest thing was picking the best available plug in the house that was close enough to the router but not in the way or at risk from water vapour or cooking. Definitely worth the money and time.

A great device
This extender works great. I initially set it up in the house and I got a green light on for the signal strength. I connected a 30 meter Ethernet cable to my Modem and repositioned the range extender in my garage. The signal light turned red and the light for 5G was green. My phone and tablet show 4 bars on the Wi-Fi symbol and they work well in the garage. I used the same Wi-Fi password that I have for the Modem when I set up the Extender and Network name TP-Link_Extender

Great, budget friendly purchase
I could not be happier with this tp-link range extender. For years we have had spotty coverage and all too frequent dropouts, despite living in a small home and not doing any heavy duty streaming or gaming. Since installing it our internet has been noticeably more responsive, and we have not had a single dropout. The setup instructions were clear enough and easy to follow, and it was up and running in minutes. Highly recommended if you're having trouble getting a decent signal.

I used this extender to cover a blind spot coverage at home. It works well and installation/setup was straight forward. Just note this is not a grid which means you need to switch between wifi’s.
