I was sick and tired of buying always cheap plastic water kettles.. The problem with those is that after almost 18 months they start to leak water around the base, and you'll soon find out your issue with live contact component "BOOM".. This stainless steel kettle is the best purchase I've have done, it's terrific and it boils so much quicker.. The closing lock spout is a must-have in securing your hot water, being this my first ever stainless steel kettle I am very pleased with my purchase from the Good guys..

Very large base which hold a large quantity of water, this leads you to boil too much water each time. A little bit more design on lid would improve jug.
