I bought this kettle to put in my caravan because of its size and only two people using it. It is the best one I have used.

1l kettle for the van
The 1L size is a perfect compact size for the caravan and at 1800w works on the 2000w inverter system for the cuppa stops on the side of the road so no grid needed.

Key benefits
- Compact Size: Takes up minimal bench space, perfect for small kitchens or limited storage.
- Lightweight Design: Easy to lift and pour, suitable for users of all ages.
- Wide Full-Length Water Gauge: Clearly shows water level for accurate filling.
- Concealed Element: Reduces limescale build-up and extends element life.
- Fast Boil: 1800W power boils water quickly for efficient beverage preparation.
- Cordless Base: 360° swivel base allows easy placement and pouring from any angle.
- Hinged Locking Lid: Ensures safe, one-handed operation and easy refilling.

Q: How many cups of water does the Sunbeam Bella Aqua 1.0L kettle hold?
A: It holds 1.0 litre, which is roughly 4 standard 250mL cups. That suits singles, couples, or smaller kitchens, but it will need refilling sooner than a 1.7L kettle if you are making several hot drinks in one go.
Q: Is the 1800W element fast enough for a compact 1.0L kettle?
A: Yes. At 1800W, this model is designed to boil its 1.0L capacity quickly, so the smaller size helps offset the lower wattage often seen against larger kettles. It is better suited to small batches than repeated boils for a group.
Q: Is this kettle a good fit for small kitchens, apartments, or office desks?
A: Yes. Its 1.0L capacity, 200 x 150 x 200mm footprint, and 1.0kg weight make it easier to place in tighter spaces than a full-size kettle. The trade-off is less water capacity, so it is not ideal for larger households.
Q: Does the 360 degree base make the Bella Aqua easier to use for left and right-handed users?
A: Yes. The 360 degree base lets the kettle be placed back from any angle, which is handy for left and right-handed use. The full-length water gauge also helps with visibility when checking the fill level before boiling.
Q: What does the concealed element mean for cleaning and everyday use?
A: A concealed element means the heating part sits under the base rather than being exposed inside the kettle. That gives a smoother interior to wipe out and can reduce scale build-up directly on the element compared with older exposed designs.
