  After using the Russell Hobbs 2-slice toaster for a few weeks, I’m very impressed. The slots are nice and wide, which is perfect because I love thicker bread and crumpets. ​What I love: ​Even Browning: No more half-burnt, half-bread situations. ​Defrost Setting: Works perfectly for bread straight from the freezer. ​Design: It has a very clean, 'Paddington' aesthetic that fits any kitchen. ​It’s a sturdy, simple machine that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Highly recommended!

  A solid replacement

  Bought this toaster to replace a Smith & Nobel toaster that died suddenly after only two years of domestic use. Have purchased other Russell Hobbs products in the past and have been happy with them so decided to buy this toaster that comes with a two year warranty ( hopefully it will last longer the Smith & Noble one ) Initially thought the stainless steel one would look better but the store only had the white one in stock so got it instead, in hindsight the stainless steel would have shown all the fingerprints requiring regular wiping over. The toaster has two good sized slots so will fit most types of bread particularly cafe sized raisin toast. Easy to operate and you certainly know when the toast is ready as the pop up is quite strong accompanied by a attention grabbing sound as it does
