Our toaster seems to perform well and efficiently. I like the "defrost" function particularly as our bread is always stored in the freezer. Makes things that much easier. The only negative is that it doesn't toast quite as evenly as I'd like. One edge (the upper) is always a bit less cooked, so sometimes a "flip over" is needed to even things up. Otherwise all good.
