Olimpia 3.5
This unit cools my medium sized bedroom. The window fitting is thin so it doesn't cover up a lot of window viewing space. But was too short for my window. Is flimsy after many attempts of it falling out I had to reinforce it with thick cardboard and foam pieces. I got glue gunned it into the area and then covered it with wall paper. I also needed to glue around the hose connection area. I also had to buy some window seal tape and align it onto my window for the gaps. The hose pipe becomes warm to touch , ended up buying a hose blanket from Temu I think at over $900 I paid to much. But it is doing the job and have had peaceful sleep and that is what it is all about. So it works. Not overly noisy as it is right next to my bed.

Q: Does the ELITE12 have to vent through a window?
A: Yes. ELITE12 needs its exhaust set up to send hot air outdoors, and the included window kit is designed for that job. If the hose is not properly vented outside, cooling performance drops and the room can feel warmer, not cooler.
Q: Will the included window kit suit all window types?
A: No. The included kit gives you a basic window venting setup, but not every window shape or size will suit it neatly. Some rooms may need extra sealing or a more secure fit to stop gaps, movement, or hot air leaking back inside.
Q: Is 65dB too noisy for sleeping in a bedroom?
A: Olimpia Splendid ELITE12 operates at 65dB, so it is clearly audible in a bedroom, especially if the unit is close to the bed. It can still be workable for overnight cooling, but it is not the right pick if near-silent operation matters most.
Q: Can you move this portable air conditioner from room to room?
A: Yes. The portable design makes it practical to move between rooms, but each room still needs a suitable window for the exhaust kit. It is best treated as a one-room-at-a-time cooler rather than a unit you can park anywhere and switch on.
Q: Can the Elite 12 cool more than one room?
A: No. ELITE12 is intended to cool one small to medium room at a time, not several rooms at once. To use it elsewhere, move the unit and set up the exhaust again in that room so hot air is expelled outdoors rather than indoors.
Q: Are replacement window kits available for the Elite 12?
A: Yes. Replacement accessories are available for the Elite 12, including a complete window kit for Elite 12 and 16 models. That is useful if the original kit is damaged, missing, or you want a dedicated venting setup ready in another room.
