At a glance
The Logitech Studio Series Desk Mouse Pad is a practical desk mat for everyday work, study and home office use. It suits users who want a tidy surface for both keyboard and mouse, with smooth tracking, light cushioning and an anti-slip base. Recycled materials and stitched edges add appeal, but its 2 mm thickness offers less padding than premium desk mats.

Things to consider
It is built for general desk comfort and organisation rather than specialist gaming or extra-plush support, so users wanting a thicker or larger premium mat may want a higher-end option.
Home office suitability
9/10 - well-sized for keyboard-and-mouse setups, with a neat design, anti-slip base and easy everyday practicality.
Gaming compatibility score
6/10 - suitable for casual gaming, but not specifically designed as a specialist high-speed or extended gaming surface.
Student use fit
8/10 - a practical desk mat for study spaces, offering enough room for daily laptop or desktop accessory use.
Device compatibility range
Works with most mouse and keyboard setups for desktop and laptop workstations.
Plug-and-play simplicity
No setup required - place it on the desk and start using it straight away.
Key benefits
- 70 x 30 cm desk mat size: Fits a keyboard and mouse together while still leaving room for small desk accessories.
- 2 mm thickness: Adds light cushioning for daily use without making the desk surface feel overly raised.
- Anti-fray stitched edges: Helps reduce edge lifting and wear from regular mouse movement and desk use.
- Spill-resistant surface: Small splashes can be wiped away before soaking in, helping keep the workspace cleaner.
- 72% natural rubber anti-slip base: Helps the mat stay in place on most smooth desk surfaces during normal use.
- 100% recycled polyester surface and inner: Offers a more considered material choice for users who value recycled components.
- Smooth surface finish: Supports consistent mouse movement for browsing, office tasks and general computer work.
- Mid-Grey colourway: Blends easily into modern home and office setups with a clean, understated look.
Q: Will this desk mat fit a full-size keyboard and mouse?
A: Yes. The mat measures 700 x 300mm, so it is sized for a keyboard and mouse on compact to medium desks. It suits everyday work setups best, but a larger keyboard plus wide accessory layout can leave less spare room.
Q: Is the 2mm thickness bulky under a keyboard and mouse?
A: No. The 2mm profile adds light cushioning without lifting the keyboard and mouse pad area too high. It keeps a low desk profile, so it suits everyday typing and mouse use more than heavily padded desk mats.
Q: Does the anti-slip base hold on smooth desk surfaces?
A: Yes. Logitech Studio Series Desk Mouse Pad uses a 72% natural rubber anti-slip base designed to grip most smooth desk surfaces. It is best suited to clean, flat desks, as dust or textured finishes can reduce grip.
Q: Can small drink spills be wiped off before they soak in?
A: Yes. The surface is spill-resistant, so small splashes can be wiped away before they soak in. It is designed for minor everyday spills rather than prolonged liquid exposure, so quick cleanup still matters.
Q: What makes the edges less likely to fray over time?
A: Anti-fray stitched edges help stop the border from lifting or wearing down with regular mouse movement. That makes it a better fit for daily desk use, especially if the mat is moved or repositioned often.
Q: Are the recycled and rubber materials specified for this mat?
A: Yes. Logitech states the surface and inner are 100% recycled polyester, and the anti-slip base is 72% natural rubber. Those materials describe the mat's construction, not a claim that every part uses recycled content.
