At a glance

It suits players who use higher-DPI settings or make shorter mouse movements, and it offers controlled glide with a rubber base for stability. Its light 90 g build is easy to move between setups. The main trade-off is its slim 1 mm thickness, which offers limited cushioning.

Home office suitability
8/10 - compact, neat and stable for everyday mouse use on standard desks.
Gaming compatibility score
8/10 - well suited to controlled tracking and higher-DPI gaming, though the medium size is less ideal for very low-DPI large-swipe players.
Student use fit
9/10 - lightweight, easy to place on smaller desks and practical for study or casual gaming.
Device compatibility range
Compatible with standard optical and laser mice for desktop and laptop setups.
Plug-and-play simplicity
10/10 - no setup required; place it on the desk and start using it immediately.
Key benefits
- Cloth Surface: Provides a controlled glide that supports accurate stopping and consistent mouse tracking.
- Rubber Base: Helps keep the mouse pad in place during fast movements and longer gaming sessions.
- Medium Size: The 34 x 28 cm footprint fits standard desks while giving enough room for everyday gaming and general computer use.
- Slim Profile: The 0.1 cm thickness sits flat on the desk and is easy to slide into a bag or laptop sleeve.
- Lightweight Build: At 0.09 kg, it is simple to reposition, store or carry between work and gaming setups.
- High-DPI Friendly Surface: Suits gamers who use higher-DPI settings or shorter mouse movements rather than very large swipes.
- Soft Cloth Feel: Offers a more comfortable hand feel than harder surfaces for extended desktop use.
- Versatile Use: Works well for both gaming and everyday navigation on a standard computer desk.
Q: Is this mouse pad big enough for low-sensitivity gaming?
A: No. Logitech G240 is a medium pad at 340 x 280mm, so it suits shorter mouse movements better than wide arm sweeps. If you play at low sensitivity and use large swiping motions, the surface area can feel limiting.
Q: Will the 1mm thickness cushion a hard desk surface?
A: No. The slim 1mm build helps the pad sit flat and makes it easy to pack, but it does not add much padding over a hard desk. If you want a softer or more cushioned feel, a thicker mouse pad will suit better.
Q: Will a cloth surface feel slower than a hard pad?
A: Yes. Logitech G240 uses a cloth surface designed for controlled glide, so it feels more deliberate than a slick hard pad. That helps with precise stopping and tracking, but it will not feel as fast or firm under the mouse.
Q: Does the rubber base stop the pad moving in game?
A: Yes. The rubber base is designed to help Logitech G240 stay put during quick mouse movements and regular desktop use. It adds grip on the desk, but dust or a very smooth surface can still reduce how firmly any pad holds.
Q: Can you pack this mouse pad in a laptop bag?
A: Yes. Logitech G240 weighs 90g and has a slim profile, so it is easy to carry between desks or pack in a bag. It is a soft cloth pad rather than a rigid mat, so it is better rolled or laid flat than sharply folded.
