Wireless mouse
I’ve never had a wireless mouse before and went with the recommendation from the staff. Wondering why I never got one until now. Great purchase. It makes using my laptop so much easier.

Q: Does this mouse need a USB receiver or dongle to work
A: No. Logitech M196 connects over Bluetooth, so it pairs directly with devices that already have Bluetooth built in. A laptop or desktop without Bluetooth will need its own Bluetooth support, and no USB receiver is included.
Q: Can it connect to an iPad or Android tablet over Bluetooth
A: Yes, if the tablet supports Bluetooth mouse input. Logitech M196 pairs directly over Bluetooth, which suits tablets with built-in wireless support. Devices that do not support external mouse control will not get full use from it.
Q: Is the Logitech M196 suitable for gaming as well as work
A: No. Logitech M196 uses a basic 1000 DPI sensor and a standard button layout, so it is better suited to browsing, study and office tasks. It does not have the extra controls or tuning that many gaming setups rely on.
Q: What battery does the rose M196 use, and is one included
A: Logitech M196 uses 1 AA battery, and 1 AA battery is pre-installed in the box. This model is designed for replaceable-battery use rather than USB charging, so the battery is swapped out when it runs flat.
Q: Will this mouse work for left and right handed use
A: Yes. Logitech M196 has an ambidextrous shape, so it can be used in either hand without a handed-specific contour. It is a compact mouse, which is handy for travel but may feel basic if you prefer a larger design.
Q: Does the M196 have programmable buttons or custom lighting
A: No. Logitech M196 is a simple everyday mouse with a standard control layout and no lighting. If extra buttons, RGB effects or deeper customisation matter to your setup, this model is not built for that type of use.
