Must-have LG Fridge features
ThinQ® Smart Technology: LG’s ThinQ® allows you to control and monitor your fridge using your smartphone remotely. You can adjust temperatures, turn on ice-making, receive alerts if the door is left open, and even get maintenance updates. It's perfect for convenience and peace of mind, especially when you're away from home.
Water Dispensers & Ice Makers: Many LG fridges have built-in water dispensers and ice makers, providing fresh, filtered water and ice on demand. Some models include craft ice™—slow-melting, round ice balls perfect for cocktails or special drinks. These features add convenience and help reduce bottled water use.
Retractable Shelving & Storage Flexibility: LG fridges are designed with adjustable and retractable shelving, making it easy to fit tall or bulky items like large bottles, cake boxes, or platters. This flexibility helps you organise your fridge better and maximize the available space.
Pure N Fresh™ Odour Control: Pure N Fresh™ is LG’s built-in air filtration system that circulates air through a carbon deodoriser to reduce food odours. It keeps your fridge smelling fresh and prevents strong smells (like onions or seafood) from affecting other food.
SurroundCooling™: SurroundCooling™ uses multiple air vents to evenly cool every shelf from front to back. This consistent airflow helps maintain a stable temperature, so your food stays fresher for longer—there are no more hot or cold spots in the fridge.
FRESHBalancer® Humidity Control: This smart drawer lets you adjust the humidity to suit fruits or vegetables. With FRESHBalancer®, your produce gets the correct moisture level to stay crisp and fresh, cutting down on food waste and spoilage.

It's recommended to change the water filter in your LG fridge every 6 months. To do this, locate the water filter in the upper left corner of your fridge and remove the shelf at the bottom of it. Open the water filter cover and remove the filter before replacing it with the new water filter. Dispense 2.5 gallons of water to remove trapped air and contaminants, then reset the water filter indicator. Run 2.5 gallons of water after replacing to check for any leaks.
