Quick sensor drying
I love how quick this dryer drys clothes. Handy auto sensor drying so the dryer stops once finished. Great features - especially the anti- crease cycle

Key benefits
- 7kg Capacity: Handles everyday laundry loads for singles, couples and small families without taking up the space of a larger dryer.
- Auto-Sensing Technology: Detects moisture levels and stops when clothes are dry to help reduce over-drying.
- Reverse Tumble Action: Alternates drum direction to help reduce tangling and improve airflow through larger items like towels and bedding.
- Wall-Mountable Design: Helps free up valuable floor space in compact laundries and apartments.
- Stackable Installation: Makes it easier to pair with a compatible washer when space is limited.
- Front and Rear Venting Options: Gives you more flexibility when positioning the dryer in different laundry layouts.
- Express 30 Program: Provides a fast drying option for smaller loads or lightly damp items.
- 2 Star Energy Rating: Offers basic drying performance with a 2 star Australian energy rating for buyers prioritising lower upfront cost over higher efficiency.
Q: Is the Haier HDV70AWW1 a good fit for apartments or small laundries?
A: Yes. With a 600mm width and 585mm depth, the HDV70AWW1 suits tighter laundry spaces better than many larger dryers. It can also be wall mounted or stacked, which helps free up floor space in compact homes.
Q: Can the Haier HDV70AWW1 be wall mounted or stacked with a washing machine?
A: Yes. This model comes with both stacking and mounting kits, giving more flexibility than dryers that need optional accessories. Before buying, check there is enough clearance for venting and that the supporting surface suits the setup.
Q: What does sensor drying do on the Haier HDV70AWW1 in everyday use?
A: Sensor drying automatically monitors moisture and stops the cycle when clothes are dry, instead of running for a fixed time. That helps reduce over-drying on everyday loads, though mixed fabrics can still dry less evenly than similar items dried together.
Q: How does reverse tumble action help on the Haier HDV70AWW1?
A: Reverse tumble alternates the drum direction during drying, which helps reduce tangling and lets air move through the load more evenly. It is especially useful for larger items like towels and bedding, which can bunch up in one-direction dryers.
Q: Does the Haier HDV70AWW1 need to be vented, and what are the venting options?
A: Yes. As a vented dryer, the HDV70AWW1 needs moist air directed away from the machine during use. It supports both front and rear venting, which gives more placement flexibility, but it does not work like a condenser or heat pump dryer with a water tank.
Q: Is the 7kg capacity on the Haier HDV70AWW1 enough for family laundry?
A: A 7kg dryer suits singles, couples, and many small families, especially for everyday clothes, towels, and mixed loads. If loads often include bulky doonas or frequent full family bedding, a larger dryer will give more drum space and airflow.
