Printer appears good. Set up very difficult.
I the Good Guy salesperson told me to set up the printer by the APP or computer. Neither worked as both wanted a password. There isn’t one. I spent 5 hours on and off trying to get it to work. I went back to the GG. They were charming, but did not suggest using the printer panel. My daughter did it in 10 minutes via the printer panel. I still can not get the scan to work nor double sided printing. The hardest printer to work ever. I need to get my daughter here again.

Key benefits
- EcoTank Refillable Ink System: Significantly reduces ink costs and minimises cartridge waste compared to traditional inkjet printers.
- Automatic Document Feeder (ADF): Enables quick multi-page scanning and copying for increased productivity.
- Wireless Printing: Print from laptops, smartphones, and tablets without cables for flexible placement.
- Duplex Printing: Save paper with automatic double-sided printing.
- High Page Yield: Each ink bottle set can print up to thousands of pages, reducing refill frequency.
- Compact Design: Fits easily in home offices or small workspaces.
- User-Friendly Touch Panel: Simplifies operation and setup for all users.
- Low Running Costs: Typical running costs are under 1 cent per page for black and white printing.
Q: Does the Epson EcoTank ET-4810 print double-sided automatically?
A: No. The ET-4810 supports manual 2-sided printing only, so pages need to be reinserted yourself for duplex jobs. That is fine for occasional reports, but less convenient if you often print long double-sided documents.
Q: Is the Epson EcoTank ET-4810 a good fit for a small home office?
A: Yes. Its ISO print speeds are 15.58 ppm for black and 8.72 ppm for colour, which suits everyday invoices, schoolwork and admin. It is better for light to moderate use than high-volume shared printing, especially as duplexing is manual.
Q: Can the ET-4810 scan or copy multi-page documents through the top feeder?
A: Yes. This model includes an ADF, so multi-page originals can be fed through the top instead of placing each sheet on the scanner glass. That is more practical for forms or contracts if you regularly scan or copy several pages at once.
Q: Is the Epson ET-4810 a sublimation printer?
A: No. The ET-4810 is an EcoTank inkjet designed for Epson 522 CMYK ink bottles, not a dedicated sublimation printer. Using non-standard sublimation ink would be a modification and can affect print behaviour and manufacturer support.
Q: How often will the Epson ET-4810 need new ink bottles?
A: The bundled 522 inks are rated for about 2,300 black pages and 5,900 colour pages using Epson's ISO method. Replacement 522 bottles are rated for about 4,500 black and 7,500 colour pages, so refill intervals can be much longer than cartridge printers.
Q: What computers does the Epson EcoTank ET-4810 work with?
A: The ET-4810 supports Windows 7 through Windows 11 and a wide range of Mac versions, from Mac OS X 10.6.8 to current releases listed by Epson. That covers most home and office setups, though older computers may need manual driver selection during setup.
