My old other brand machine died, so I bought this Bambino Plus. The good - runs a decent shot. Foaming works. Cons - affordable, very light, and top heavy. So whilst sticking the group handle in, have to hold the whole machine so it won’t topple. Auto foaming sometimes (8 out of 10 times) will not stop and overflows. Need to use a thermometer or manually decide when it’s hot enough. The lid of the water tank looks good, but I’ve dropped it into the water tank a few times. The good things especially the price outweigh the negatives. Also, I’ve had to use a mesh shower screen to distribute the water evenly.

Breville The Bambino Plus
Purchased the Bambino Plus after watching a lot of reviews. Have had machines that cost 3 times the amount and this honestly it makes just as good a coffee. The auto milk frother is great. If you have a good grinder i would recommend you give the Bambino Plus a shot and save yourself some cash.

Excellent machine, replacement for BES920
Absolutely in love with this machine, I bought it to replace my BES920 dual boiler, which had given up the ghost after many reliable years of service. The repair cost outweighed the benefit so I opted for this machine instead, and I am blown away with the quality I can get out of it (with proper grind, dose, technique etc). Plus it's footprint is a lot smaller and it looks great in the kitchen. If you are thinking about this machine, just do it, you won't regret it.
