Effective for cleaning up after your pet
Overall very happy with this product. It definitely helps get rid of pet stains and odours out of carpet. Wish it came in a bigger bottle however, as it doesn’t go very far if you have a lot of carpet to cover.

At a glance
A machine-use carpet and upholstery cleaning formula made for homes dealing with pet urine stains and odours. It suits pet owners who already use a compatible Bissell carpet washer and want enough solution for regular whole-home cleaning. Key strengths are its Oxy stain-lifting approach, upholstery compatibility and 1.5 L twin-pack value. Limitation: it is not a stand-alone spot treatment or enzyme cleaner.
What it’s great for
- Pet urine stain cleaning
- Carpet washer use
- Upholstery refreshes
- Regular pet mess maintenance
- Multi-room cleaning
Where it works best
- Homes with pets
- Carpeted living rooms
- Rugs
- Upholstered furniture
- Multi-room households
Who it’s for
- Pet owners
- Families
- Multi-pet households
- Bissell carpet washer owners
- Home cleaners
Things to consider
This formula is intended for use in compatible Bissell carpet washers, so it is less flexible than specialist stand-alone spot removers or dedicated enzyme treatments for targeted stain work.
Pet & child home suitability
Good for pet households and family homes that need regular machine cleaning of carpets and upholstery.
Stain removal effectiveness
8/10 - Strong fit for machine-assisted pet urine stain cleaning, especially for routine maintenance on carpets and upholstery.
Ease of application
8/10 - Straightforward to use in compatible Bissell carpet washers, but not intended as a stand-alone hand-applied cleaner.
Odour removal score
8/10 - Designed to help remove pet urine odours during machine cleaning, though specialist enzyme products may be better for severe odour treatment.
Key benefits
- Oxy Cleaning Formula: Helps lift pet urine stains and odours during machine cleaning for a fresher result on carpets and upholstery.
- Twin Pack Format: Includes 2 x 750 mL bottles, giving you 1.5 L total for repeated cleaning sessions.
- Machine Cleaning Use: Designed for use in compatible Bissell carpet washers, making larger-area cleaning easier than manual scrubbing.
- Carpet and Upholstery Compatibility: Suitable for cleaning both carpets and upholstered furniture in one cleaning routine.
- Pet-Focused Formula: Made for households managing recurring pet messes, including marked areas on rugs and furniture.
- Regular Maintenance Support: Well suited to ongoing cleaning in homes with multiple rooms or frequent pet-related accidents.
- Broad Bissell Compatibility: Works with a range of Bissell carpet cleaning models, including 3670F, 3672H, 3631F and 3636P.
- Single-Session Whole-Home Cleaning: Lets you clean marked areas across rugs and furniture in one session using your machine.
Q: Can this formula be used without a Bissell carpet washer?
A: No. Bissell Wash & Remove Pro Oxy Pet Urine Eliminator is made for machine cleaning with compatible Bissell carpet washers, not as a hand-applied cleaner. If you want a quick spot-only treatment, this is not the flexible option.
Q: Is this an enzyme cleaner for pet urine odours?
A: No. Bissell Wash & Remove Pro Oxy Pet Urine Eliminator uses an Oxy cleaning approach during machine cleaning, rather than acting as a stand-alone enzyme treatment. It suits regular washer use better than targeted pre-treatment work.
Q: How do I check if my Bissell washer suits this formula?
A: Check your washer model against the listed compatible Bissell carpet cleaners, including 3670F, 3672H, 3631F and 3636P. If your exact model is not on that compatibility list, do not assume it will be suitable just because it is a Bissell machine.
Q: Will it clean upholstery as well as carpeted rooms?
A: Yes. Bissell Wash & Remove Pro Oxy Pet Urine Eliminator is suitable for carpets and upholstery when used in a compatible Bissell carpet washer. That makes it practical for homes cleaning rugs, lounges and marked fabric areas in one session.
Q: Is the twin pack enough for repeated whole-home cleaning?
A: Yes. The pack includes 2 x 750ml bottles, giving 1.5 litres in total for repeated cleaning sessions across multiple rooms. It is better suited to ongoing maintenance than a one-off small stain, especially in homes with regular pet messes.
Q: Does this suit regular pet accidents or only occasional marks?
A: It is better suited to regular pet mess maintenance. Bissell Wash & Remove Pro Oxy Pet Urine Eliminator is designed for machine cleaning across carpets and upholstery, so it makes more sense for recurring accidents than for a single isolated spot.
