Over heats phone
A useful charger however on QI my iPhone heats up a lot and seems to have damaged battery on the phone a bit. I think the way it covers the whole phone perhaps means heat cant dissipate. Via cable is fine.

At a glance
The Belkin Magnetic Portable Wireless Charger 10K is a compact power bank for iPhone 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 users who want easy magnetic wireless charging, plus USB-C wired charging for other devices. It is great for commuting, travel and mixed-device households thanks to pass-through charging and a 1 m cable. The main limitation is that wireless charging tops out at 7.5W, which is slower than newer premium magnetic chargers.

Q: Is this Belkin magnetic power bank only suitable for iPhone, or can it charge Samsung and Google phones too?
A: It is designed primarily for iPhone 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 series, where the magnetic alignment works as intended. Samsung and other USB-C phones can still charge by cable, but wireless alignment may be off and can interfere with the camera area.
Q: How long does the Belkin Magnetic Portable Wireless Charger 10K take to recharge?
A: Belkin states the 10,000mAh power bank can be fully recharged in less than 3.5 hours when using the 18W USB-C input. Actual time can be longer with a lower-wattage wall charger or if another device is being charged at the same time.
Q: Can this Belkin charger power an iPhone wirelessly and recharge itself at the same time?
A: Yes. This model supports pass-through charging, so it can charge a phone while the power bank itself is connected to USB-C power. That is handy for a desk or bedside setup, though charging may be slower than using one device at a time.
Q: Is the wireless charging speed the same as using the USB-C port on this Belkin 10K charger?
A: No. Magnetic wireless charging for compatible iPhones is rated at up to 7.5W when used with an iPhone 12 series device, while the USB-C port can deliver 18W wired charging to compatible devices. Wired charging is the better choice when speed matters.
Q: Can the Belkin Magnetic Portable Wireless Charger 10K charge a laptop or iPad?
A: No. Its 18W USB-C output is suited to phones, earbuds and other smaller USB-C devices, not laptops that usually need much higher USB-C power. It may top up some tablets slowly, but it is not intended as a laptop power bank.
