At a glance
The ASKO Style Fully Integrated 82cm Dishwasher is a premium built-in option for larger households and frequent entertainers who need flexible loading and very quiet operation. Its three baskets, nine wash zones and 16 place setting capacity make mixed loads easier to manage. A fair limitation is that it comes as fully integrated only, so it requires a matching custom kitchen panel.

Key benefits
- 16 Place Setting Capacity: Handles bigger family meals and entertaining clean-up in fewer loads.
- Three Baskets and Racks: Gives you more flexibility to separate cutlery, cups, plates and cookware for easier loading.
- Foldable Pin Rows: Creates room for bulky serving pieces, pots and awkward-shaped items when needed.
- Vase and Bottle Holder: Helps secure tall bottles and narrow items for a more practical wash setup.
- Three Spray Arms: Improves wash coverage across a full load for more consistent cleaning.
- Nine Wash Zones: Targets different areas of the dishwasher to better handle mixed dish types in one cycle.
- 39dB Noise Level: Runs very quietly, making it well suited to open-plan kitchens and evening use.
- 6 Star WELS Water Rating: Uses 10.6L per wash cycle on ECO to help keep water use low.
Q: Can this dishwasher be installed without a custom cabinet front?
A: No. This fully integrated dishwasher does not include a finished front panel, so a matching cabinetry panel is needed for the final look. It is less suitable if you want an exposed appliance front or a simple drop-in replacement.
Q: Is the ASKO DFI766U.AU a good replacement for a freestanding dishwasher?
A: No. ASKO DFI766U.AU is built for fully integrated installation, with the door designed to sit behind cabinetry rather than act as a finished exterior. It suits an integrated kitchen layout, not open-sided placement as a visible standalone unit.
Q: Will three baskets make loading easier for mixed family dinners?
A: Yes. The three-basket layout helps separate cutlery, glasses, plates and cookware, which is useful when one load includes both everyday dishes and serving ware. Foldable pins and the bottle holder also reduce awkward stacking for taller items.
Q: How quiet is this dishwasher in an open-plan kitchen at night?
A: ASKO DFI766U.AU runs at 39dB, so it suits open-plan kitchens and late cycles better than many louder dishwashers. It is not silent, though, and in a very quiet room you can still notice normal water movement and pump sounds.
Q: Can it wash large serving dishes and tall bottles together?
A: Yes. Foldable pin rows and the vase or bottle holder give this dishwasher more flexibility for tall bottles, serving pieces and daily dishes in the same load. Large items still need sensible spacing so the spray arms can reach across the baskets properly.
Q: Does the large capacity mean fewer back-to-back wash cycles?
A: Yes. ASKO DFI766U.AU holds 16 place settings, so it can handle bigger meal clean-ups in one cycle than smaller dishwashers. Capacity still depends on what is inside, because deep pots and large platters take more room than standard plates and bowls.
