At a glance
This built-under ASKO dishwasher is a strong fit for larger households that need flexible loading, quiet operation and dependable everyday washing. It handles 16 place settings, offers nine programs and uses adjustable baskets to suit everything from glassware to cookware. Its low 40dB noise level also works well in open-plan homes. One limitation is that its larger capacity may be more than smaller households need.

Q: Is 40dB quiet enough for an open-plan kitchen?
A: Yes. ASKO DBI565IK.BS.AU runs at 40dB, which is very quiet for a full-size dishwasher and suits open-plan kitchens better than louder models. You will still hear some water movement, so it is quiet, not silent.
Q: Can it wash pots, plates and glasses together?
A: Yes. ASKO DBI565IK.BS.AU has room for 16 place settings, with a height-adjustable top basket and foldable racks to rework the load for cookware and glassware together. Very bulky items can still reduce space for other dishes.
Q: Does this ASKO dishwasher have a fast wash cycle?
A: Yes. This model includes a Quick Pro wash for faster turnaround on lighter daily loads, and it also has Auto, ECO and Intensive programs. Heavier baked-on mess is better left to the longer Intensive program.
Q: Will the top basket adjust for tall glasses?
A: Yes. The upper basket is height-adjustable, so you can create extra clearance for tall glasses above or make more room below for larger pots. Telescope rails with ball bearings also help the basket slide more smoothly when it is loaded.
Q: Does ASKO DBI565IK.BS.AU have app control or Wi-Fi?
A: No. ASKO DBI565IK.BS.AU focuses on core wash performance and flexible loading rather than app-based control. If remote monitoring or phone alerts matter to you, that is not a highlighted feature on this model.
Q: Does the spray system cover more of the load?
A: Yes. ASKO DBI565IK.BS.AU uses 3 spray arms and 9 spray zones to reach more of the basket area during a cycle. That broader coverage suits mixed loads well, but careful stacking still matters for the best result.
