Sunbeam Riviera Toaster is a winner
Love the look and the “feel” of the controls on this toaster. As a bonus it also takes large slices of bread. Very happy with it.

Key benefits
- 7 Browning Settings: Offers precise control to achieve your preferred level of toastiness.
- QuickCheck Function: Allows you to check toast progress mid-cycle without interrupting toasting.
- Crumpet/Bagel Setting: Dedicated mode for optimal results with different bread types.
- Elegant Design: Mediterranean-inspired graphite finish enhances kitchen aesthetics.
- Gentle Glow Illumination: Soft lighting adds a premium touch and improves visibility.
- 4-Slice Capacity: Toasts up to four slices at once, ideal for families or entertaining.

- Lift-and-Look Lever: Easily check toast without cancelling the cycle.
Q: Can it toast frozen bread without thawing it first
A: Yes. Sunbeam French Riviera 4 Slice Toaster Graphite has a defrost function for bread taken straight from the freezer. It is designed to start from frozen, though browning can still vary with slice thickness and bread density.
Q: Will it fit thick slices, bagels or supermarket crumpets
A: Yes. The wide self-centring slots are designed for thicker items such as bagels, crumpets and muffins, not just standard sliced bread. Very oversized bakery pieces may still need trimming if they are wider than the slot opening.
Q: How does QuickCheck work during a toasting cycle
A: QuickCheck lets you lift the lever to inspect browning, then continue the same cycle if it needs more time. Sunbeam French Riviera 4 Slice Toaster Graphite does not need cancelling and restarting just to check progress.
Q: Can different breads toast evenly in the same batch
A: Often, yes. The self-centring slots help different bread shapes sit closer to the elements for more even browning. If you mix very dense fruit bread with thin sandwich slices, they may still finish differently in the same batch.
Q: Are smaller items easy to remove without burnt fingers
A: Yes. The high lift lever raises smaller items higher above the slot, which makes English muffins or short bread pieces easier to grab. It helps with access, but the metal around the slots still gets hot during normal use.
Q: Is the crumb tray simple to clean after daily use
A: Yes. Sunbeam French Riviera 4 Slice Toaster Graphite has a removable crumb tray that is dishwasher safe, so loose crumbs are easier to clear out. The bread slots themselves may still need an occasional shake out or careful brush.
