I usually select around '5' for my preference & the toasting takes around 2 minutes & comes out exactly how I like my toasting- just right not burnt & not under cooked. I thoroughly recommend the Sunbeam Alinea as a great choice for your next toaster & I purchased my toaster at a great price at Good Guys.

I was tossing up between this toaster and another of a higher price point, with similar features. Based on reviews I picked this and glad I did; it toasts quickly, beautifully and evenly. Cooked bagels and Crumpets and they toasted so evenly and quick, and stays hot for quite some time too. Very glad I picked this one, deff worth the $$!
