Toaster Upgrade
Our old toaster slowly began to die, taking longer and longer to toast, at maximum setting and even then we often had to do yet another toasting rotation! Read the reviews on line and Smeg came out as a pretty good option. Price is a little on the higher side for a toaster, but nowhere near what you would pay for some top of the range options. Managed to purchase for an excellent price, taking advantage of a 30% in store credit promo from The Good Guys (WA). The Smeg has turned out to be the best toaster we’ve ever had. We got a 2 slot X 4 slice version. Controls are minimal and easy to use. It has 6 toast settings and the most we’ve turned it up to is 3.5, when most slices toast golden brown at 2.5, without burning. You have defrost and reheat buttons. Easy to clean and has a crumb collection tray at the bottom which is easy to remove and clean. Look smart, modern and is well designed.

Best toaster ever
So this is my second Smeg toaster. The first lasted many years. I can see a bi improvement on my new one. It doesn’t pop the toast out of the toaster and the toast is browned very evenly 5 stars from me well worth the money!
