Shark steam mop extra cleaning pads.
Love these. So versatile. Easy to clean but like having some extras in the house. I find this entire product so easy to use and works fabulously around my little unit. And isn’t heavy to use which was a major factor

At a glance
This 2 pack of reusable Shark scrubbing pads is a practical replacement set for households using compatible Steam and Scrub mops on sealed hard floors. It suits regular cleaners who want an easy spare set for wash rotation, with secure fit and machine-washable convenience. Its main limitation is that it is only an accessory, so performance depends on your mop model and the condition of the pads over time.
What it’s great for
- Routine hard floor cleaning
- Pad replacement rotation
- Sealed floor upkeep
- Family home cleaning
Where it works best
- Homes with sealed hard floors
- Kitchens
- Hallways
- Open-plan living areas
Who it’s for
- Shark Steam and Scrub owners
- Busy households
- Regular home cleaners
- Pet-owning households
Things to consider
This pack is a cost-effective replacement option, but it is limited to compatible Shark mop models and will not restore cleaning performance indefinitely once the pad fibres and scrubbing surface wear down.
Model compatibility assessment
Best matched to Shark Steam and Scrub mop models S7001 and S8201, with a purpose-built fit for secure attachment and proper spinning performance.
Pet hair cleaning boost
7/10 - helpful for picking up everyday pet mess on sealed hard floors, but not a specialised pet hair attachment.
Allergy suitability enhancement
6/10 - washable pads support cleaner maintenance and regular floor refreshes, but there are no specific allergy-focused filtration or antibacterial claims.
Durability score
7/10 - reusable and machine washable for repeated use, though scrubbing and absorption performance will naturally decline with wear.
Key benefits
- 2 Pack Included: Gives you two pads so you can rotate between cleaning sessions and washes more easily.
- Washable Construction: Pads can be machine washed for convenient reuse instead of frequent one-time replacement.
- Reusable Design: Helps reduce repeat accessory purchases while keeping your steam mop ready for regular use.
- Sealed Hard Floor Cleaning: Designed to support gentle but effective cleaning across sealed hard floor surfaces.
- Secure Model Fit: Made to fit compatible Shark Steam and Scrub mop models for proper attachment during use.
- Soft Scrub Surface: Helps lift dirt, grime and tougher marks without needing a separate manual scrubbing pad.
- Lightweight Handling: Easy to remove, swap and carry between the mop and laundry.
- Spare Set Convenience: Useful for larger cleaning jobs when one pad set is in the wash and another is ready to use.
Q: Are these scrubbing pads made specifically for the Shark S7001 Steam and Scrub?
A: Yes, these pads are intended for the Shark S7001 Steam and Scrub. Match the model code before buying, because Shark pad fittings can vary across steam mop ranges and a pad that looks similar may not attach or spin correctly.
Q: Can these Shark S7001 pads be washed and reused, or are they disposable?
A: They are designed to be reusable rather than single-use disposable pads. Like most washable steam mop pads, performance drops once the fibres flatten or stay stained, so they are best replaced when scrubbing and absorption noticeably decline.
Q: How many replacement pads come in this pack, and is that enough for regular cleaning?
A: This pack includes 2 replacement pads, which suits many households that like to rotate one pad while the other is being washed and dried. If the mop is used several times a week or on large hard floors, a spare set can be useful.
Q: When should the Shark S7001 scrubbing pads be replaced instead of washed again?
A: Replace them when the pad no longer grips dirt well, the surface looks matted, or the fit has become loose after repeated washing. Those signs usually matter more than age alone, because wear depends on floor size, soil level, and cleaning frequency.
