I like the unique camo design of this PS5 DualShock controller. Functionally, it works exactly like the default controller that came with my PS5.

Q: Is the PlayStation 5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage compatible with PS4?
A: No. This DualSense controller is designed for PS5, and PS4 consoles do not support it for PS4 gameplay. Some features may work on other devices such as PC or mobile, but the full haptic and adaptive trigger experience is built around supported PS5 games.
Q: Does the Grey Camouflage version work differently from the standard white DualSense controller?
A: No. The Grey Camouflage version uses the same core DualSense hardware as the standard PS5 controller, including haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, touchpad and built-in mic. The main difference is the colour and finish rather than extra buttons or performance.
Q: Do all PS5 games use the DualSense adaptive triggers and haptic feedback?
A: No. The controller includes adaptive triggers and haptic feedback, but games need to support those features for the full effect. In unsupported titles, or some older PS4 games played on PS5, feedback may be limited to more basic vibration.
Q: Can this PS5 controller be used for voice chat without a headset?
A: Yes. The DualSense has a built-in microphone and mono speaker, so it can handle quick voice chat and game audio without a headset. A headset is still the better option for clearer sound, private listening and longer multiplayer sessions.
Q: Is the PlayStation 5 DualSense Controller Grey Camouflage rechargeable?
A: Yes. This controller has an integrated rechargeable battery and charges through USB-C, so there is no need for disposable AA batteries. Wired charging is the standard method, and battery life will vary depending on vibration, speaker and microphone use.
