Quality Controller
Quality genuine controller for the PS5. Easy to pair and ready to use. Rechargeable and no batteries required. Would definitely shop around to make sure you’re getting the best price before purchasing. Due to recent price increases, you should still be about to get these on sale for under $100.

Love the haptic feedback
It feels comfortable to hold and the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers make games much more immersive. The buttons are responsive and the overall build quality feels premium. Battery life could be a bit longer, but overall it’s an excellent controller.

It suits everyday console gamers, story-driven players and local multiplayer households thanks to its haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and integrated mic. Its main limitation is that it offers less hardware customisation than specialist competitive controllers.

Things to consider
Great for immersive PS5 play, but it does not offer the extra rear buttons, trigger-stop tuning or deeper hardware customisation found on specialist competitive controllers.
Platform compatibility
PlayStation 5
Competitive gaming suitability
8/10 - responsive and comfortable for competitive play, but lacks the advanced hardware customisation of esports-focused controllers.
Comfort score
9/10 - ergonomic shape and balanced layout make it easy to use for extended gaming sessions.
Customisation flexibility

Key benefits
- Haptic Feedback: Adds more detailed vibration effects so in-game actions feel more lifelike and immersive.
- Adaptive Triggers: Changes trigger tension during gameplay to make actions like braking, drawing or firing feel more responsive.
- Integrated Microphone: Lets you chat quickly in supported multiplayer games without always needing a separate headset.
- Wireless Bluetooth Connectivity: Supports cable-free play with your PS5 for a cleaner and more flexible gaming setup.
- USB-C Charging: Makes recharging straightforward with a modern, widely used cable connection.
- Ergonomic Design: Sits comfortably in the hands for longer play sessions across a wide range of game genres.
- Motion Sensors: Built-in accelerometer and gyroscope support motion-based control in compatible games.
- Rechargeable Battery: Keeps the controller ready for regular gaming without needing disposable batteries.
Q: Does the PlayStation 5 DualSense Wireless Controller work with a PS4 console?
A: No. The DualSense is built for PS5 and is not officially supported as a standard controller for PS4 gameplay. If you mainly play on PS4, a DualShock 4 is the better match for game compatibility and setup.
Q: Can this DualSense controller be used with a PC or mobile device as well as a PS5?
A: Yes. This controller can connect to compatible PCs, Macs and some mobile devices over Bluetooth or USB-C, but advanced features like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers only work in supported games and apps, not every title.
Q: Do I need a headset for voice chat, or can I talk through the controller itself?
A: You can chat through the controller itself because the DualSense has an integrated microphone. A wired or wireless headset is still the better option for clearer audio, more privacy and less background noise during multiplayer play.
Q: How long does the DualSense battery usually last, and how is it recharged?
A: Battery life is typically around 6 to 12 hours per charge, depending on vibration strength, trigger effects and microphone use. It recharges through the USB-C port, and can also be used with compatible charging docks made for DualSense.
Q: How can I check that this is the correct PS5 DualSense controller model?
A: Check the product listing and packaging for model number 155591 and the white DualSense design made for PlayStation 5. It should also match key features such as adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, built-in microphone and USB-C charging.
