At a glance
The Ordo Sonic Kids Squishmallows Samir is a battery-powered sonic toothbrush for children aged 4+ who want a fun, simple step up from manual brushing. Its strengths are soft bristles, easy handling for small hands and up to 60 days of use from one AA battery. A key limitation is that it offers just one brushing mode, so it is less customisable than premium rechargeable models.

Key benefits
- Sonic cleaning: 18,000 pulses per minute help remove plaque more effectively than a manual-style brush action.
- Soft bristles: Gentle on young teeth and gums while still supporting everyday cleaning.
- Single brushing mode: Keeps operation simple for children who are new to electric brushing.
- Ergonomic waterproof handle: Designed to sit comfortably in small hands for easier daily use.
- Battery operation: One AA battery provides up to 60 days of use before replacement is needed.
- Two brush heads included: Gives you spare replacement value in the box for longer use.
- Replaceable brush head system: Extends the life of the toothbrush so the handle can keep being used.
- Squishmallows Samir design: Makes brushing more appealing for children who respond well to fun character styling.
Q: Is the Ordo Sonic Kids Squishmallows Samir toothbrush rechargeable?
A: No. This model runs on 1 AA battery and includes the battery in the box, so there is no charging dock or cable to manage. That can suit bathrooms with limited bench space or kids who travel, but batteries will need replacing over time.
Q: How long does the battery last on the Ordo Sonic Kids Squishmallows Samir toothbrush?
A: It is rated for 60 days from a single AA battery, based on normal use conditions. Actual runtime can vary with how often and how long it is used, but the battery format is handy for trips where charging is not practical.
Q: Is this toothbrush suitable for children with braces or other dental work?
A: Yes. It includes soft bristles that are described as suitable for kids' teeth and dental work, so it is designed to be gentler around more sensitive mouths. It still uses sonic cleaning, so it focuses on effective brushing without hard scrubbing.
Q: What does 18,000 pulses per minute mean for everyday brushing?
A: It means the brush head moves with fast sonic action to help lift plaque more effectively than a manual brush alone. On a kids' model, that gives extra cleaning support while still using soft bristles, rather than relying on harsh pressure from the child.
