Great Robo Vac
While the vacuum feature work really well i haven't been able to use the mop function as the mapping system wont let me set up the tile space in my apartment as it deems it too small to be considered a room so I cant indicate the area for mopping and i only use the vacuum feature,

At a glance
The Narwal Freo X Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop designed for busy homes with hard floors, carpets and pets. Its strengths are strong 8200Pa suction, self-emptying and auto-washing base functions, and broad smart home control options. It is especially handy for reducing daily cleaning effort. One limitation is its 107 mm height, so it may not fit under lower furniture.

- Low-maintenance cleaning routines
- Busy family households
Where it works best

Who it’s for

Things to consider
Its 107 mm body may limit access under lower furniture, so some homes may need occasional manual cleaning in tight spaces.
Pet hair performance score
9/10 - Strong suction and certified anti-tangle hair handling make it well suited to pet hair in daily use.
Smart home integration score
9/10 - Supports app control plus Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit for flexible smart home use.
Carpet vs hard floor suitability
Well suited to mixed-floor homes, with wet and dry cleaning for sealed hard floors and intelligent carpet detection for vacuuming carpets.
Noise level vs category average
Average - no specific noise rating is provided, so it is best treated as typical for a premium robot vacuum.
Allergy friendliness
Good - the HEPA filter and bagged dust collection are helpful for reducing exposure to fine dust during emptying and operation.
Key benefits
- 8200Pa suction: Delivers strong pickup for everyday dust, debris and pet hair on hard floors and carpets.
- Auto washing and drying base: Reduces hands-on mop maintenance by washing and drying the mop system after cleaning.
- Self-empty 2.0 dust handling: Helps cut down how often you need to empty debris manually for easier ongoing upkeep.
- 1 L bagged dust bin: Supports less frequent emptying than smaller onboard bins, making it useful for busy households.
- Tri-laser navigation and avoidance: Improves movement around furniture and obstacles while helping avoid restricted areas.
- 5200 mAh battery with up to 210 minutes runtime: Covers longer cleaning sessions before needing a recharge.
- Smart app and voice assistant control: Lets you schedule cleans, manage no-go zones and control the robot through the Narwal app, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa or Apple HomeKit.
- HEPA filter: Helps trap fine dust for cleaner exhaust air during vacuuming.
Q: Will it avoid mopping my rugs and carpeted rooms?
A: Yes. Narwal Freo X Ultra uses intelligent carpet detection, so it can change its cleaning approach when it reaches carpet. Wet mopping is intended for sealed hard floors, not rugs or carpeted areas.
Q: How much space does it need under beds or sofas?
A: Narwal Freo X Ultra is 107mm high, so it suits beds and sofas with more than 10.7cm clearance. It will not clean under lower furniture, so measure tight spots if under-bed reach matters for your home.
Q: Does the dock wash and dry the mop pads?
A: Yes. Narwal Freo X Ultra includes an all-in-one base that auto washes, dries and cleans as part of routine care. It also uses a self-emptying dust solution, but the bagged system still needs occasional attention rather than none.
Q: Can it handle pet hair without frequent brush tangles?
A: Yes. Narwal Freo X Ultra is built for pet hair and everyday dust in mixed-floor homes, with a design aimed at reducing hair wrap. It still benefits from occasional checks if your home has long hair or heavy-shedding pets.
Q: Can I create no-go zones for pet bowls or cords?
A: Yes. The Narwal app supports no-go zones, and tri-laser navigation helps the robot avoid obstacles and restricted areas. That is useful for spots like pet bowls, cables or cluttered corners you do not want it entering.
Q: Does it work with Apple HomeKit as well as Alexa?
A: Yes. Narwal Freo X Ultra works with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control. More detailed setup, including mapping and no-go zones, is handled through the Narwal app rather than by voice alone.
