Things to consider
This bag set is specifically made for Guard M1 models, so it is less flexible than universal or cross-model vacuum bag options.
Pet owner suitability
7/10 - strong filtration helps with fine dust and household debris, but this is a dustbag rather than a pet-specific attachment.
Surface versatility score
8/10 - supports the vacuum's overall cleaning performance across common household surfaces, though it does not directly change floorhead capability.
Vacuum model compatibility
Suitable for all Miele Guard M1 models
Ease of attachment
9/10 - purpose-built fit and self-sealing collar make bag replacement straightforward and low-mess.

Q: Are these dustbags the right replacement for older Miele bag types such as FJM?
A: No. These CO HyClean Pure bags are made for all Miele Guard M1 models. They are not the FJM bag style used by some older Miele vacuum ranges, so the bag type needs to match the vacuum series before ordering.
Q: What is included in this Miele CO HyClean Pure pack?
A: This pack includes 4 vacuum cleaner bags and 1 AirClean exhaust filter. That gives you several bag changes in one box, but only a single exhaust filter is included, so filter replacement timing may differ from bag replacement timing.
Q: Why does the specific CO bag type matter for Guard M1 vacuums?
A: The CO bag shape and collar are designed to fit Miele Guard M1 vacuums correctly, which helps maintain the seal and airflow as the bag fills. Using the wrong bag type can affect fit quality and reduce dust containment inside the vacuum.
Q: Does the self-sealing collar make bag changes cleaner?
A: Yes. Miele CO HyClean Pure bags use a HyClose self-sealing collar that closes as the bag is removed, so collected dust stays inside the bag. That makes disposal cleaner, especially when the bag is close to full.
Q: Is the included AirClean filter the same as a motor filter?
A: No. The included AirClean filter is an exhaust filter, which works in the vacuum's filtration path after dust collection. It is not an extra bag, and it is not the motor protection filter used in some other vacuum configurations.
Q: What does the 99.99% filtration figure mean for this bag pack?
A: Miele CO HyClean Pure uses the Miele AirClean system for filtration performance rated at 99.99%. In practice, that figure applies to the bag and filter system together, so correct bag fit and the included exhaust filter both contribute.
