It suits users who want easy access to AirPlay 2, Chromecast and DTS Play-Fi in a neat shelf or wall-mountable design. - Bluetooth 4.2: Supports straightforward wireless playback from compatible phones, tablets and other devices.
- Wi-Fi Streaming: Enables stable home-network streaming for music services and internet radio.
- Apple AirPlay 2: Makes it easy for Apple users to stream audio directly from supported devices.
- Google Chromecast: Lets compatible apps cast music wirelessly to the speaker with minimal setup.

Q: Can the Loewe klang mr1 work on its own, or is it mainly for a multiroom system?
A: Yes, the klang mr1 can be used as a standalone speaker for everyday music listening. It also suits a wider multiroom setup through DTS Play-Fi, AirPlay 2 and Chromecast built-in, so it can fit into an existing compatible audio system later.
Q: Does the Loewe klang mr1 support both Apple and Android music streaming?
A: Yes, it supports Apple AirPlay 2 and Chromecast built-in, which makes it suitable for both Apple and Android households. That gives more flexibility than a speaker locked to one ecosystem, especially if different people use different devices at home.
Q: Can the Loewe klang mr1 be used with Google Home or Amazon Alexa?
A: Yes, the klang mr1 is compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The key point is compatibility rather than a built-in voice assistant, so voice control depends on using it within a supported smart home setup or with another assistant device.
Q: Is 30 watts enough output for the Loewe klang mr1 to fill a room?
A: Yes, 30 watts is typically suitable for a bedroom, study or smaller living area, especially with the passive radiators helping bass response. It is better matched to balanced room listening than high-volume party use or large open-plan spaces.
Q: Can the Loewe klang mr1 be used as a wireless rear or satellite speaker with a Loewe soundbar?
A: Yes, this model includes WDAL 2.0, which allows it to work as a wireless low-latency satellite speaker with the Loewe klang bar5 mr. That is useful if a buyer wants to start with one speaker and later build a more immersive Loewe setup.
