Great stain remover
This product is amazing for stains on carpets, new and old. My carpets are very old and hadn’t been cleaned for years….. I sprayed this on stains and it removed all of them and no scrubbing needed. Smells good too! Highly recommend it!

At a glance
The Hoover Oxy Stain Remover 0.65 L is a compact carpet spot cleaner for tackling everyday spills and stains at home. It suits households that want a ready-to-use trigger spray for quick treatment of marked areas. Key strengths are its easy application, practical bottle size and targeted use. Its main limitation is that it is designed for spot cleaning, not full-room carpet cleaning.

7/10 - designed for carpet stains and spills, with best use on prompt spot treatment rather than heavy-duty deep cleaning.

Key benefits
- 0.65 L Capacity: Provides enough solution for repeated spot treatments on multiple small stains around the home.
- Trigger Spray Format: Lets you apply the cleaner directly onto affected carpet areas for simple, controlled spot treatment.
- Targeted Stain Removal: Designed to focus on spills and marks without needing to treat the entire carpet.
- Compact Bottle Size: Easy to store in cupboards, laundry shelves or a cleaning caddy when not in use.
- Ready-to-Use Liquid Cleaner: Convenient for fast response when spills happen, with no mixing step mentioned.
- Home Spot Cleaning Use: Suitable for routine stain treatment in everyday household settings.
Q: Is this spray for whole carpet cleaning or spot treatment only?
A: It is designed for spot treatment only. Hoover Oxy Stain Remover 0.65L is made to target spills and marks on specific areas, not to clean an entire room like a carpet shampoo or full-size carpet cleaning solution.
Q: Do I need a carpet cleaning machine to use it?
A: No. The trigger spray bottle is designed for direct application onto the stained area, so it can be used as a standalone spot cleaner. It suits quick treatment of fresh spills rather than machine-based cleaning across large carpeted areas.
Q: Can this replace carpet shampoo in a Hoover carpet cleaner?
A: No. Hoover Oxy Stain Remover 0.65L is a targeted spray for treating marks and spills, not a full-room carpet cleaner solution. It is better suited to spot jobs where you want to apply product directly to one affected area.
Q: How much cleaner is in the Hoover Oxy Stain Remover bottle?
A: Hoover Oxy Stain Remover has a 0.65L capacity. That size suits repeated spot cleaning around the home, but it is still a compact bottle intended for treating individual stains rather than covering large carpeted areas in one session.
Q: Will the bottle fit easily in a cupboard or cleaning caddy?
A: Yes. The bottle measures 110mm wide, 267mm high and 60mm deep, so it has a slim footprint for storage. It is easier to keep in a cupboard or carry in a cleaning caddy than a larger bulk carpet cleaning bottle.
