Hoover Ocy formula
It’s well concentrated for the carpet to remove dirt. Did my last week and dirt came so much. Price is half when I bought this product with the Hoover machine. I already recommended my friends to buy machine and the chemicals.

At a glance
The Hoover Oxy Formula 1.47L is a concentrated carpet cleaning solution for households needing help with recurring marks, odours, and high-traffic carpet areas. It suits people who want a practical cleaner for both spot treatments and broader machine cleaning. Key strengths are strong stain-fighting performance, odour neutralising, and a fresh scent. Its main limitation is that it is a cleaning solution, so results depend on the carpet cleaner and correct mixing.

Key benefits
- Oxy stain-fighting formula: Helps break down both old and new carpet stains for easier cleaning.
- Concentrated solution: Supports multiple cleaning sessions from one 1.47 L bottle when used to machine mixing instructions.
- Odour neutralising action: Helps reduce pungent carpet smells while cleaning.
- Ocean breeze scent: Leaves carpets smelling fresher after use.
- Suitable for spot and larger-area cleaning: Gives flexibility for small accidents or broader carpet refreshes.
- Designed for high-traffic areas: Practical for homes where carpet marks return regularly.
- Compatible with carpet cleaning machines and accessories: Fits into regular machine-based carpet maintenance routines.
Q: Can I use this in any Hoover carpet cleaning machine
A: Use it only in Hoover carpet cleaners or spot cleaners that are designed to take cleaning solution. Hoover Oxy Formula AH31986AU is concentrated, so follow the machine's mixing instructions rather than pouring it in undiluted or using it for dry vacuuming alone.
Q: Is this better for spot stains or full carpet cleaning
A: It suits both. The 1.47L bottle works for quick spot treatment and for larger carpet cleaning sessions, but how far it goes depends on the machine's dilution instructions and how heavily soiled the carpet is.
Q: Does Hoover Oxy Formula work on old carpet stains
A: Yes. Hoover Oxy Formula AH31986AU is designed to break down both old and new carpet stains for easier cleaning. It is still a general carpet solution, so some deep-set marks or specialist stain types may need a more targeted treatment.
Q: Will it help with pet odours and recurring carpet marks
A: Yes, for everyday carpet odours and repeat marks. Hoover Oxy Formula AH31986AU uses oxy cleaning action to neutralise pungent odours, but it is not a specialist fix for every heavy pet accident, dye transfer, or deeply set stain.
Q: Do I need to dilute this carpet cleaning solution
A: Yes. Hoover Oxy Formula AH31986AU is a concentrated solution, so it should be mixed as directed by the carpet cleaner you are using. The right ratio depends on the machine, which matters for cleaning performance and residue control.
Q: What does the ocean breeze scent leave behind
A: Hoover Oxy Formula AH31986AU leaves a fresh ocean breeze scent after cleaning, so it is not a fragrance-free option. That suits buyers who want carpets to smell refreshed, but it may not suit those avoiding scented cleaning products.
