Excellent Price, Prints, & Works Perfectly
Excellent Price & Works Perfectly Bought this along with the other 3 colours being Black, Cyan, & Yellow. Ink worked perfectly in my EcoTank Pro ET-5800 printer. The ink solved the issues I had of printing in wrong colours and some pages missing ink meaning they were empty. I still had to run the Power Cleaning option, which was expected, but after doing so, the ink solved my problem. All 4 ink bottles only cost me $100, which is excellent, and the ink lasts ages. I got 2.5 years out of the half-full bottles that came with the printer when I bought it. I would expect these full bottles to give me at least year's worth of printing. Overall, love the ink and the price. It's definitely worth the extra cost up front! I have no issues recommending this ink or the Epson EcoTank printers at all - just make sure you pick the right printer for you based on the features and functions you need.

Ease of replacement rating
9/10 - keyed bottle design and auto stop filling make tank refills simpler and cleaner than many cartridge changes
Business vs home suitability
Well suited to both home and small business use, especially for users with recurring colour print needs
Key benefits
- 6,000-page yield: Supports longer printing runs before replacement, helping reduce refill frequency for regular colour printing.
- Single-colour magenta refill: Lets you top up only the magenta tank instead of replacing a full set of colours.
- DURABrite ink formulation: Delivers vivid magenta tones for colour documents, graphics and photo printing.
- Auto stop bottle design: Helps make refilling cleaner and easier with less mess during tank top-ups.
- Uniquely keyed bottle: Helps guide the correct fit for compatible tanks and reduces refill mistakes.
- EcoTank Pro compatibility: Designed to work with ET-16600, ET-5800, ET-5170 and ET-5150 printers for straightforward replenishment.
- Bottle refill format: Suits high-volume users who want fewer interruptions than traditional cartridge replacement.

Q: Which printers can use this magenta EcoTank bottle safely?
A: This bottle is listed for Epson EcoTank Pro ET-16600, ET-5800, ET-5170 and ET-5150 printers. It is not a general Epson refill, so match both the printer model and the T542 magenta code before buying to avoid a refill mismatch.
Q: Can I refill only the magenta tank on my printer?
A: Yes. Epson T06A392 is made to top up the magenta tank on compatible EcoTank Pro printers without replacing cyan, yellow or black at the same time. That suits uneven colour use, but only on the listed models in this range.
Q: Does the T542 bottle help prevent overfilling or wrong tank filling?
A: Yes. Epson T542 bottles use auto stop technology and each colour is uniquely keyed for its matching tank. That makes refilling more straightforward and helps reduce the chance of pouring magenta into the wrong reservoir.
Q: How much printing does one T542 magenta bottle usually cover?
A: Epson T542 Magenta has a page yield of 6000 pages. That figure depends on print settings and page coverage, so frequent photo printing or heavier magenta use will use the bottle faster than lighter document printing.
Q: Is this a cartridge or refill bottle for EcoTank printers?
A: This product is a refill bottle, not a cartridge. It is designed for Epson EcoTank Pro printers that use refillable ink tanks, so it will not suit Epson cartridge printers or laser printers even if the brand matches.
Q: Does the box include other colours or only magenta ink?
A: It includes 1 x Epson T06A392 magenta ink bottle. If another tank is also low, that colour needs to be bought separately because this pack is only for the magenta refill and does not include a multi-colour set.
