At a glance
The Ecovacs Cleaning Solution 1 L is a robot-ready floor cleaner made for compatible DEEBOT models used on sealed timber and tile floors. It suits households wanting simple, streak-free mopping with a light fresh scent and a non-toxic formula for homes with kids and pets. Its main limitation is that it is not designed for carpet stain removal, so it is a poor fit for spot-cleaning rugs or carpets.
What it’s great for
- Robotic hard floor mopping
- Sealed timber floor cleaning
- Tile floor maintenance
- Everyday household floor care
Where it works best
- Family homes
- Apartments
- Homes with sealed timber floors
- Homes with tile surfaces
Who it’s for
- DEEBOT owners
- Busy households
- Pet owners
- Parents
- Users wanting low-effort floor cleaning
Things to consider
This formula is made for compatible Ecovacs robot tanks or base stations and sealed hard floors, so it is less versatile than specialist carpet stain removers or manual spot-cleaning products.
Pet & child home suitability
Suitable for homes with kids and pets due to its non-toxic formula; allow floors to dry before heavy foot traffic.
Stain removal effectiveness
2/10 - suitable for hard floor mopping, but not intended for carpet stain treatment or spot removal.
Ease of application
9/10 - very easy to use in compatible DEEBOT robot tanks or base stations with no manual mopping required.
Odour removal score
6/10 - leaves a light wild bluebell scent, but it is positioned more as a freshening floor cleaner than a dedicated odour remover.
Key benefits
- 1 L Capacity: Provides a full-size refill suited to regular robot mopping in homes with hard floors.
- Robot-Compatible Formula: Designed for use in compatible DEEBOT tanks or base stations for straightforward automated cleaning.
- Streak-Free Floor Care: Helps leave sealed timber and tile surfaces looking cleaner after each mopping cycle.
- Wild Bluebell Fragrance: Adds a light fresh scent without an overpowering perfume smell.
- Non-Toxic Formula: Better suited to homes with kids and pets when used as directed.
- Hard Floor Focus: Made specifically for sealed timber and tile surfaces rather than general-purpose cleaning.
Q: Can I use this solution in any Ecovacs robot vacuum?
A: No. Ecovacs Cleaning Solution 1L is listed for X1 OMNI, T20 OMNI, X1 PLUS and DEEBOT X2 OMNI. Use with other Ecovacs models is not documented here, so treat it as a model-specific cleaner, not a universal formula.
Q: Can this be used as a carpet stain remover?
A: No. Ecovacs Cleaning Solution 1L is intended for hard-floor mopping with compatible DEEBOT robots, not for carpet spot treatment. If the main job is lifting set-in carpet stains, this is the wrong type of cleaner.
Q: Does the bottle go into the robot or base station?
A: Ecovacs Cleaning Solution 1L is formulated for use in a compatible robot tank or base station, depending on how the supported DEEBOT model handles cleaning fluid. It is not a manual floor cleaner, so do not use it in a bucket mop setup.
Q: Is this cleaning solution safe for sealed timber floors?
A: Yes. It is intended for hard floors including sealed timber and tile, and it is formulated to leave a streak-free finish after a mopping cycle. It is not intended for unsealed floors, carpet spot cleaning or manual mops.
Q: Should floors dry fully before kids and pets walk on them?
A: Yes. Ecovacs Cleaning Solution 1L is described as non-toxic for homes with kids and pets, but the floor should be allowed to dry before heavy foot traffic returns. That matters most on freshly mopped timber or tile floors.
Q: Will it leave a strong perfume smell after cleaning?
A: No. Ecovacs Cleaning Solution 1L uses a wild bluebell fragrance designed to leave a light fresh scent rather than a heavy perfume finish. If fragrance sensitivity matters in the home, keep in mind that this formula is scented.
