I had the cygnett charge up pro usb c 20000mah but it was unfortunately stolen on a recent overseas trip. This was my upgrade and it’s a different beast entirely. It is a lot bulkier than the slimmer older one but also has an extra 7kmah. The screen is a fancier feature and comes with a travel case. Highly recommend

The Cygnett 27K Laptop Power Bank (148W) with Case is a powerful, travel-ready charging solution for users who need to keep laptops, tablets, and phones powered up on the go. With ultra-fast recharging and the ability to charge up to three devices at once, it's ideal for busy professionals and travellers. Its size and weight may be bulkier than smaller-capacity models.
Heavier and larger than entry-level power banks, making it less pocket-friendly for everyday carry.
10/10 - Supports up to 140W USB-C Power Delivery, ideal for fast charging laptops and other devices.
Compatible with USB-C laptops, tablets, smartphones, and USB-A devices.
9/10 - Approved for carry-on with most airlines and includes a protective case, but bulkier than compact models.
8/10 - Durable construction and included travel case offer above-average protection.
9/10 - Simple interface with clear LCD display and easy-to-access ports.
A: Yes, it is designed for laptops as well as smaller devices, because the product is rated at 148W. It suits USB-C laptops that charge over USB-C Power Delivery, but very high-draw gaming models may still drain faster than this bank can refill them during heavy use.
A: The 148W figure refers to available charging power, not battery capacity. In practice, that means it is aimed at faster USB-C laptop charging than a standard phone bank, but actual speed still depends on the device, cable and whether power is split across ports.
A: Usually yes, because a 27,000mAh power bank is typically about 99.9Wh at 3.7V, which sits just under the common 100Wh airline carry-on limit. Airline rules can vary, so it should travel in carry-on rather than checked baggage and be checked before flying.
A: It can charge more than one device, but charging speed is shared when multiple ports are in use. A phone can still charge quickly, though the laptop may receive less power than when it is the only device connected, which matters most during heavy laptop use.
A: The case is there to make a large-capacity power bank easier to carry and protect in a bag. That is useful because a laptop-grade bank is heavier and bulkier than a phone-only model, and the case helps reduce scuffs, cable snags and day-to-day wear.
A: Yes, this model is aimed at mobile work because it combines a 27K capacity class with laptop-level output. It is better suited to topping up a USB-C notebook, phone and accessories through the day than a smaller power bank built mainly for handsets.
