How to update Sony BRAVIA TV?

Once your TV is connected to the internet, updating your Sony BRAVIA software is simple! Follow the below steps:
1. Select the (Help) icon.
2. Select Customer Support.
3. Select Software Update.
4. Select Network. Note: If Network is not shown, skip this step.
5. Select Yes or OK to start installing the update.

How to reset Sony TV?

If you want to perform a factory reset on your Sony TV - here are the steps to follow:

1. Unplug your TV power cord from the electrical socket
2. Press and hold the Power button on the TV (not on the remote), and while holding the button down, plug the power cord back in.
3. Continue to press the button until a white LED light appears near the Sony logo on the TV front.
4. After the white LED light appears, release the button. If the LED light doesn't turn white within 30 seconds, start over from step 1.
5. Wait a few minutes for the Factory Data Reset to complete. The TV will restart twice. If the TV doesn't turn back ON automatically, press the Power button to turn the TV back ON.
6. When the Welcome setup screen appears, perform the setup. If the Welcome setup screen doesn't appear, unplug the AC power cord and plug it back in. After the factory reset process completes, the TV will start the Initial Setup.
